Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture. The default configuration on the Web UI side often cannot meet all user preferences. For users who need to manage sessions, switch models, and customize the interface directly in the browser, the native UI features may be insufficient. dsh-ui-fortifier is designed to address these issues by extending the Web UI’s interaction capabilities and providing more granular control.

Plugin Overview

This is a client-side enhancement plugin for the DSH Web UI, maintained by developer pgnqukezrdxmhjso. It does not modify core logic; instead, it registers slots and remote endpoints to add practical features such as functional module toggles, a draggable settings panel, and a cascading model selector.

Core Features

The plugin provides the following feature modules. All modules are enabled by default and can be disabled in the plugin card configuration section:

  1. session-id-copy: Adds a “Copy-session-ID” button to the tool group in the session header, making it convenient to copy the session ID.
  2. compact-button: Adds a “Compact-context” button at the end of the left-side group in the input toolbar. Clicking it runs the /compact command.
  3. provider-label: Displays the currently selected Provider name to the left of the model selector.
  4. model-picker: Adds a cascading model selector next to the input-row model selector, supporting filtering of the model list by Provider.
  5. open-dsh-folder: Adds an “Open dshHome Folder” button next to the “Open Configuration File” button in the top-right corner of the settings page.
  6. settings-frame: Converts the settings panel into a draggable and resizable window.

Installation and Activation

Install it via the official plugin index:

Note: Direct installation from a GitHub repository URL is currently not supported. If you need to do further development, refer to the instructions below.
