Installation and Activation

Optional: Skin Center (Renderer + Wallpaper)

The skin is a purely declarative asset directory and requires a renderer to be displayed. This plugin declares @linxin666/dsh-client-ui-skin-center as an optional peer dependency. Whether to install it is up to the user.

  • After installation: In the DSH interface, go to Settings -> Skin Center to preview/apply skins, adjust the background occlusion slider, and use wallpapers (Wallpaper Engine mirror, manual media files, or folders).
  • Without installation: The skin still syncs to the skins directory and waits for a renderer. If another Skin Center instance already exists in the configuration file, it does not need to be installed again.

Features

  • Theme: Light and dark themes, with a palette derived from the original artwork and a background provided by built-in animated wallpapers.
  • Avatar: The sidebar brand and every assistant message display the Jinhsi avatar.
  • Conversation style: Imitates the in-game Feixun messenger’s letter cards and jade-colored user bubbles with tails.
  • Decorations: Six pure CSS decoration layers.
  • Status feedback: Implemented with pure CSS (:has() reads attributes). Streaming output shows a golden sweep, tool calls show a mint pulse, and errors show vermilion.

Wallpapers and Background

Wallpaper rendering requires Skin Center support.

  • Background occlusion (0-100%): Adjusts transparency. At 0%, the background is clearest and the text sits on “paper”; at 100%, the background is nearly solid.
  • Blur and transparency: Applied separately to empty conversations, populated conversations, the input box, and message bubbles.
  • Wallpaper panel: You can use the local Wallpaper Engine library as the GUI background.
  • Priority: The skin yields to the wallpaper. Once a wallpaper is activated (body[data-dsh-wallpaper-active]), the background layer becomes a mask, while the decoration layers are preserved. To restore the built-in animation, click Remove in the wallpaper panel.

    • Avatar (skin/assets/jinhsi-head.webp) © Kuro Games, not bundled with the plugin and retrieved from Kuro’s official website/CDN during installation.
    • Background wallpaper (skin/assets/jinhsi-quiet.mp4) bundled with the plugin, sourced from Wallpaper Engine Workshop item 3606711102 「Jinhsi — Quiet」.
  • Skin Center version compatibility:
    • DSH 0.1.5-rc.x supports only Skin Center 0.3.24.
    • DSH >= 0.1.7-rc.1 supports the latest Skin Center.
    • Only one Skin Center instance can exist in a configuration file; otherwise duplicate routes are registered, causing conflicts.
