Introduction

The DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugin ecosystem is designed to extend native capabilities. In long-form writing scenarios, native drag-and-drop only supports mapping file names and cannot directly send file content as context. luxueliu-dsh-story, as a long-form writing plugin, fills the gaps in materials drag-and-drop, plot handoff, clean export, and card archiving—four core areas.

Core Features

The plugin provides the following capabilities:

  • Drag-and-drop materials: Supports dragging .md, .txt, and .yml files into the input box. The plugin inserts the full file content as context rather than sending only the file path.
  • Plot handoff: Uses the /gemini-sum command to generate a plot handoff summary, helping you open a new window to continue writing when the context is full.
  • Clean export: Uses the /out command to export a clean transcript without tool noise; uses /out [name] to export the archive to the finished output directory.
  • Archiving and cards: Uses /sum [type]:[description] to generate a character card or world book and save it into the material package.
  • Writing directives: Includes a built-in /cue command and tag system (such as [forum]), supporting quick switching between writing styles (such as [British], [second person]).

Installation and Configuration

Installation

Install it via the DSH CLI:

dsh plugin --profile web add luxueliu/luxueliu-dsh-story

After installation, restart the DSH Web client and perform a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R).

Configuration

Before using it, you need to configure roots, provider, and model. roots is only used to map dropped file names back to disk paths; the file content is delivered directly by the browser.

Note: Do not insert id: story in cordis.patch.yml—the bundle patch has already been done.

Agent Presets

If you need to use the session form of Continue mode, copy the plugin’s preset/continue/ directory separately to ~/.dsh/.agent-presets/continue/.

Common Commands

  • Drop a file: Drag .md, .txt, or .yml files directly; their content will be used as context.
  • Plot handoff: /gemini-sum - generates the current plot summary for handoff.
  • Export conversation: /out - exports a clean transcript; /out [name] - exports the archive to the finished output directory.
  • Generate cards: /sum character card: description - generates a character card; /sum world book: description - generates a world book.
  • Instruction list: /cue - lists all built-in instructions; /cue forum you brit - outputs a specific style combination.
  • One-time invocation: /gemini <prompt> - directly invokes the configured model.

Notes

  • Drag-and-drop mechanism: The plugin does not intercept drop events during the document capture phase; otherwise, DSH could freeze. It listens only during the bubble phase.
  • Role of roots: roots is only used to map file names to disk paths and does not handle file content transmission.
