In the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugin ecosystem, dsh-arch-advisor is responsible for pulling the architecture knowledge base at runtime. The corresponding offline version, dsh-arch-advisor-offline, bundles this knowledge directly into the plugin. It relies on the awesome-architecture open-source knowledge base (tutorials, templates, case studies, bilingual Chinese and English) and requires no network access at runtime. It is suitable for fully offline environments or environments with strict network restrictions.
Installation and Enablement¶
Install the plugin using the official command:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:LeeGuanWei-a/dsh-arch-advisor-offline
After installation, restart the DSH session to use it. All tool names include the _offline suffix, ensuring they can coexist with the online tools.
Core Features¶
The plugin includes 7 built-in tools, providing complete capabilities from knowledge retrieval to architecture design:
arch_roadmap_offline: Provides an overview of the knowledge base and learning paths.arch_search_offline: Supports keyword-based search across directories.arch_read_offline: Reads specific content, supporting directory previews, full-text reading, and Chinese/English switching.arch_ask_offline: Maps user ideas to relevant tutorials, templates, and case studies.arch_design_offline: Provides a step-by-step guided architecture design process.arch_docs_offline: Generates development document specifications (e.g., architecture, PRD, HLD, LLD, DBD).arch_version_offline: Manages document versioning specifications.
Typical Usage¶
During a conversation, the plugin automatically calls the tools above based on instructions. Common interaction patterns are as follows:
- If you need a design solution or approach: first use
arch_ask_offlineto map your idea to relevant tutorials, templates, or case studies, then usearch_design_offlineas needed for step-by-step design. - If you need to generate documentation: use
arch_docs_offlineto obtain the document skeleton, together witharch_version_offlinefor version management. - In offline environments, you can directly ask architecture-related questions, and the tools will still respond normally.
Content and Updates¶
The plugin content is sourced from the MIT-licensed open-source knowledge base awesome-architecture, including 40 tutorials, 31 templates, and 6 case studies (bilingual Chinese and English).
The content is fixed at packaging time, with zero network dependency at runtime. When upstream content is updated, reinstall or update the plugin to get the latest snapshot.
System Requirements¶
Before installing, ensure that your environment meets the following conditions:
@deepseek-ai/cordisversion 4.0.1 or later is required.
Summary¶
dsh-arch-advisor-offline is suitable for scenarios that require stable, offline architecture consulting capabilities. By bundling the knowledge base into the plugin, it eliminates runtime network dependency, and its tool naming scheme allows it to coexist with the online version.
