DSH’s plugin-based design allows flexible UI customization. The default input area is usually quite plain. The dsh-composer-glass plugin aims to change that by turning DSH’s input area into a single, uniform translucent frosted-glass panel.
Feature Description¶
This plugin is maintained by Lbunc and belongs to the fun theming category. It improves interface visual consistency through a unified material design.
Coverage
The same material covers the input box, task list, goal bar, scroll-to-bottom floating button, bottom conversation statistics and token usage capsule, / command menu, and Plan cards in transcripts.
Per-surface controls
It provides six independent surface toggles. Each group includes six sliders: blur, opacity, saturation, brightness, shadow, and edge highlight. Dragging previews changes in real time; releasing persists the settings immediately. Turning off a group immediately restores that group’s original appearance.
Theme adaptation
It supports resetting to the preset to restore factory materials with one click. Light and dark themes have separate color adjustments and switch automatically with the active theme.
Installation and Activation¶
Installation
Install it via command line:
dsh plugin --profile web add "<地址>"
Or via DSH’s built-in plugin manager: sidebar Plugins → Add Plugin, enter an address (package name, local path, GitHub link) → Install → Enable.
Activation
Versions prior to 0.1.7-rc.1 still require restarting DSH. Use the sidebar Plugins → Composer Glass → Settings to turn on the toggle; each surface can be adjusted individually in its settings card.
Notes¶
- Version requirement: Compatible only with DSH 0.3.0 and later (0.1.7-rc.1 included major changes).
- Version display discrepancy: Displayed version ≠ actually installed version. The supply-chain cooling mechanism (
minimumReleaseAge) blocks newer releases published less than 24 hours ago and silently installs the previous version. The displayed version comes from registry metadata, while the actual installation is resolved by pnpm. - Uninstallation leftovers: Uninstallation leaves
cordis.patch.ymlconfiguration leftovers (toggles and slider values are written in this file under the profile).dsh plugin removedoes not automatically remove this section; manual cleanup is required.
