Introduction¶
In the plugin-based ecosystem of DeepSeek Harness (DSH), developers need to manage connections, sessions, MCP servers, skills, and various plugins simultaneously. dsh-status-hub is a browser-side plugin designed to resolve the fragmentation of these runtime information by adding a status center to the sidebar. Maintained by HUSTforever, it leverages the existing Web UI extension points of DSH and reads existing Host services without introducing additional server processes.
Core Features¶
This plugin provides the following status monitoring capabilities:
- Comprehensive Overview: Displays an overview of connection status, active sessions, installed plugins, MCP servers, and skills.
- Session List: Provides a real-time session list, showing the running status of sessions and supporting navigation.
- MCP Status: Displays configured Loader entries and their lifecycle status.
- Skill Catalog: Displays the skill catalog of the currently selected session.
- Plugin Inventory: Provides a read-only global Loader inventory, supporting search and displaying failure status.
Installation and Enabling¶
Installing a Prebuilt GitHub Release¶
Install it through the official tarball:
dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/HUSTforever/dsh-status-hub/releases/download/v0.1.0/dsh-status-hub-0.1.0.tgz
After installation is complete, restart dsh web. Find the status center icon at the bottom of the sidebar and click it to view.
Local Development¶
If you need to modify the plugin code or perform development debugging, you can follow these steps:
pnpm install
pnpm run build
dsh plugin --profile web add .
Technical Details and Notes¶
- Plugin Contract: This package follows the two-sided plugin contract defined in the documentation, including an empty Host
apply()entry, adsh.bundleconfiguration layer, adsh.clientWeb declaration, and slots registered throughctx.slots.inject(). - MCP Status: MCP status is Loader-level status. Since Harness currently exposes MCP tools only through the tool registry and does not expose a dedicated browser Remote for probing the health status of external servers, this view reports only configuration and Fiber lifecycle.
- Dependencies: The development dependency targets the
0.1.2-rc.1Web package installed in the current local Harness distribution.
Summary¶
dsh-status-hub provides DSH administrators with a centralized status monitoring view that requires no additional server. Through integration into the sidebar, it simplifies the workflow for environment debugging and status checking.
