Preface¶
The core philosophy of DeepSeek Harness is “everything is a plugin.” In real-world administration, manually maintaining YAML configuration files to update model lists, context windows, or pricing information is both tedious and error-prone. dsh-model-sync aims to relieve this maintenance burden by synchronizing model catalogs through automated discovery and monitoring.
Plugin Positioning¶
This plugin is maintained by GooDAnDReaDY and provides automated provider model catalog discovery and quota/balance monitoring for DeepSeek Harness.
Core Features¶
The plugin connects to 25+ upstream providers through a built-in adapter registry, automatically retrieving model lists, aliases, context windows, and feature flags.
- Automated Catalog Discovery: Supports providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, xAI, OpenRouter, Groq, Mistral, Cerebras, Fireworks, HuggingFace, Moonshot, NVIDIA, Qwen, Together, Xiaomi MiMo, SiliconFlow, Command Code, ClineBot, and local Ollama.
- Pricing and Quota Monitoring: Includes a built-in reference pricing database for cost filtering and supports querying upstream billing endpoints to report account balances and quotas.
- Advanced Adapters: Supports querying ClineBot’s
/users/me/planendpoint to synchronize only the models included in the plan, and synchronizing model selections from Command Code’svisibleModelsendpoint. - Management and Aliases: Supports dynamic smart virtual aliases (such as
@fastand@cheap) and automatic fallback chains. Provides one-click in-app updates and a complete Web GUI panel for visibility management. - Auditing: Tracks new models, deprecated IDs, and changed capabilities through timestamped diff logs.
Installation and Dependencies¶
The plugin requires Node.js 20+. Dependencies include @deepseek-ai/cordis, @deepseek-ai/schemastery, and @deepseek-ai/dsh-llm. Installation is managed through the plugin directory (no specific command is provided; refer to the source repository).
Typical Usage¶
The plugin polls in the background using a Cron scheduler. Users can also manually click the “Sync” button in the Web UI “Settings -> Model Sync” panel.
Notes¶
The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. Review the source code and license (MIT) before installing.
Conclusion¶
This tool is suitable for administrators who need to manage multi-provider model catalogs. For more details, visit GitHub.
