DeepSeek Harness (DSH) often requires frequent clicks to expand collapsible rows such as “thinking” and “tool calls” when debugging agents or inspecting the internal reasoning process. Manual operation is repetitive and inefficient. The following section introduces a plugin that lets you manage the expansion state of these collapsible rows from the settings interface.
Plugin Purpose¶
The plugin is maintained by Cinnamobot and is designed to automate the handling of collapsible rows in the DSH agent conversation interface. It adds toggles to the settings, allowing users to configure whether content types such as “thinking,” “tool calls,” “context injection,” “todo items,” and “execution queue” are expanded by default. The core design principle is to “respect manual user actions”: once a user manually toggles a row, the plugin will no longer automatically override that state.
Core Features¶
The plugin provides the following category settings:
- Think: Expanded by default to show the thinking process.
- Tool calls: Expanded by default to show detailed parameters for tools such as pwsh, read, web_search, write, and edit.
- Context injection: Expanded by default to show injected content such as system prompts.
- Todo list: Collapsed by default.
- Queue: Collapsed by default.
- Manual actions take precedence: Rows that have been manually expanded or collapsed keep their current state unless manually changed again in settings.
Installation and Enablement¶
Before using it, ensure that DeepSeek Harness is installed.
dsh plugin --profile desktop add github:Cinnamobot/dsh-disclosure-tweaks
After installation, you must restart DSH Desktop. After restarting, the “UI Tweaks” section will appear on the settings page.
Usage¶
Go to Settings > UI Tweaks and toggle the switches as needed. Settings take effect immediately and are saved to localStorage and $DSH_HOME/disclosure-tweaks.json.
Notes¶
This plugin is an unofficial project. Its code structure includes a Host-side API (lib/index.js) and Browser-side DOM monitoring (lib/client.js).
Summary¶
With this plugin, developers can reduce repetitive clicking and focus more on the agent logic itself. The plugin source code and details are available on GitHub.
