DSH cannot directly see the status of Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor running in another window. This plugin provides DSH with two read-only tools to parse the session logs these agents have already written to disk and normalize all statuses into a unified vocabulary: needs you / running / done / idle.

Installation

In DSH Desktop, go to Settings → Plugins, search for dsh-plugin-dew, and install it.

Alternatively, integrate it into a profile manually: add the dependency and list it as a Bundle in the corresponding package.json.

// ~/.dsh/profiles/web/package.json
{
  "dependencies": { "dsh-plugin-dew": "^0.1.0" },
  "dsh": { "profile": { "bundles": ["@deepseek-ai/dsh-base", "@deepseek-ai/dsh-web-app", "dsh-plugin-dew"] } }
}

Before installing, make sure your environment meets the dependency requirements:
* Node.js version >= 20
* To read DSH’s own compressed transcripts, Node 23.8+ is required (supports zlib.zstdDecompressSync)

Core features

The plugin provides two tools for querying sessions and scheduled tasks.

agent_sessions

List sessions and their current status.

Parameter Type Description
agents string[] Limit which agents to scan. Supports claude_code, codex, cursor, and dsh. Leave empty to scan all.
state string Filter by status. Supports needs you, running, done, idle, or active (default, excludes idle) or all.
within_hours integer Lookback time window, default 8 hours.
limit integer Maximum number of results to return, default 25.

agent_scheduled_tasks

List an agent’s recurring jobs and their next trigger times, including Codex automations (RRULE) and Claude Code scheduled tasks (cron). All are calculated locally.

Parameter Type Description
agents string[] Limit which agents to scan.
include_disabled boolean Whether to include disabled tasks. Default is false.

Use cases

  • Check whether any tasks are waiting for your confirmation (needs you).
  • Check whether a Claude Code run has completed.
  • See which agent is blocked.
  • Before editing code, confirm whether another agent is working in the same directory.

Privacy and configuration

The plugin runs in read-only mode. It does not write to other agents’ data directories and does not touch the keychain or make network requests.

agent_sessions returns a one-line summary for each session (a conversation snippet). These summaries are sent to the model provider like ordinary tool results. If you do not need the conversation text, you can configure redactSummaries.

config:
  agents: []              # 限制扫描的代理,如 ["claude_code", "codex"]
  defaultWindowHours: 8   # 默认回溯小时数
  redactSummaries: false  # 是否隐藏对话摘要,仅报告状态和项目

Data sources

The plugin obtains information by reading each agent’s local log files.

Agent Sessions Scheduled tasks Source paths
Claude Code ✅ ⚠️ ~/.claude/projects/**/*.jsonl, ~/.claude/scheduled-tasks/
Codex ✅ ✅ ~/.codex/sessions/, ~/.codex/automations/
Cursor ✅ — ~/.cursor/projects/<slug>/agent-transcripts/
DSH ✅ — $DSH_HOME (default ~/.dsh) and DSH Desktop harness directory

⚠️ Note: Claude Code scheduled tasks are currently defined only in the documentation and have not been observed in real environments. The parser is defensive and returns empty when not triggered.
