Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) provides plugin extension capabilities. The SIMS Assistant is a development candidate plugin designed to provide DSH with connection configuration, credential management, and user template capabilities through a single sims tool. It runs via a host-authenticated management RPC, supports SIMS scope restrictions, and does not affect other agents.
Core Capabilities¶
- Connection and Credential Management: Provides connection configuration and credential management.
- Real Account Check: Supports checking connection status and returns account, role, and permission information without returning tokens or raw responses.
- Explicit User Template Management: Supports template creation, identification, and explicit removal.
Installation and Activation¶
Use the official installation command (requires network access to GitHub):
dsh plugin --profile web add 'git+https://github.com/cardclown/dsh-sims-agent.git#cd898c05aec853e80e1e417ac3b606c25f525934'
The plugin is compatible with Node.js 22.19–22.x and DSH 0.1.2-rc.1.
Typical Usage¶
- Configure SIMS: Open “SIMS Assistant” in native settings, enter the API base address and timeout, enter the SIMS access token, and save.
- Check Connection: In a session, ask the model to use the tool to check the connection. For example, if the user says “check connection,” the model calls
sims({"action":"connection.check"}). It returnsCONNECTEDonly when the HTTP request succeeds, the business envelope succeeds, and the identity fields are valid. - Manage Templates: In “Settings → SIMS Assistant,” enter the template identifier and assistant name, then click “Create SIMS Assistant.”
Notes¶
- Development Candidate: Market delivery has not been completed; do not release it as an official market version.
- Service Account: This account is a service account bound by an administrator and does not represent the current chat user.
- Permissions and Tokens: The plugin does not guess account passwords. If the token expires, re-authorization is required. The plugin does not return tokens or raw responses.
- Template Limitations: The identifier is limited to a maximum of 64 characters and may contain only lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens; the first character must be a letter or digit; the name is limited to a maximum of 80 characters.
- Same Identifier Overwrite Rejection: Overwriting the same identifier is rejected; use a new identifier to update a template.
