Introduction¶
DSH (DeepSeek Harness) follows the “everything is a plugin” philosophy. In agent development or human-agent collaboration, describing elements such as “the third button in the second row” is often inefficient and prone to ambiguity. Pinpoint addresses this pain point by enabling element marking and commenting on any webpage through a browser extension, delivering screenshots and structured text directly to DSH sessions.
What Is This¶
Pinpoint is a communication enhancement plugin for DSH. It is maintained by 776138506 and is open source under the MIT license.
The plugin consists of two parts:
* Browser Extension (extension/): responsible for marking elements on webpages, capturing information, opening comment windows, and managing the staging list.
* DSH plugin (src/): responsible for rendering structured cards and injecting formatting conventions.
Core Features¶
- Element Marking: Click the target element on any webpage.
- Automatic Capture: Automatically captures screenshots, CSS selectors, text excerpts, and coordinate information.
- Commenting and Staging: A comment window pops up after marking, supporting direct sending or staging. The browser extension supports cross-tab staging.
- Session Rendering: Structured cards are rendered directly in DSH sessions.
- Interactive Editing: Supports clicking to jump to and locate elements, as well as re-editing staged content.
Installation and Enablement¶
Installation covers both the DSH side and the browser side.
1. DSH-side installation
Install this plugin in DSH. Refer to the dsh declaration in cordis.patch.yml and package.json.
2. Browser-side installation

extension/directory of this plugin.
Typical Usage¶

Use Cases and Notes¶
- Permissions and Security: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. Check the source code and license before installing.
- Settings Location: All settings are unified on the extension options page; the sidebar serves only as an entry point.
- License: MIT.
