Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture. Directly invoking the cloud document capabilities of WPS or Kingsoft Docs usually requires cumbersome API wrapping. The dsh-wps plugin bridges this gap by connecting to the official Kingsoft SkillHub MCP, making WPS cloud document operations available within DSH conversations.
Plugin Purpose¶
This is a WPS / Kingsoft Docs integration plugin for DSH, maintained by user zhengjy01 and licensed under the MIT License. It uses the official SkillHub MCP interface to register WPS document management capabilities as mcp__wps__* tools, allowing direct cloud document operations in conversations.
Core Features¶
- Connect to official SkillHub MCP: The plugin connects directly to
https://mcp-center.wps.cn/skill_hub/mcp. - Dynamic tool registration: It automatically registers tools with the
mcp__wps__*prefix and dynamically discovers 558 tools (covering modules such asdrive, wps, sheet, wpp, dbsheet, pdf, form, andaippt). - Custom browser authorization: The plugin uses the
auth-guideflow to open the WPS login page and obtains the token by polling theexchangeendpoint. This is not a standard MCP OAuth flow. - Secure storage: The access token is stored in
~/.dsh/dsh-wps.json, with file permissions set to0600. - Helper tools: The plugin includes 4 helper tools for checking status, starting OAuth, testing the connection, and clearing the cache.
- Web settings panel: A built-in Web settings panel allows managing WPS-related configuration through the interface.
Installation and Activation¶
After installing the plugin, restart the DSH process for the changes to take effect.
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-wps
After installation, trigger the authorization flow in the conversation. The plugin opens the WPS login page in a browser. You must log in using a personal account. Enterprise accounts are rejected and return a 403 status code.
Typical Usage¶
After successful installation and authorization, you can invoke the following capabilities using natural language:
| What you say | Tool invoked |
|---|---|
| Show me my recent WPS files | mcp__wps__list_latest_items |
| List the root directory of my cloud documents | mcp__wps__list_my_files |
| Search for files containing “weekly report” | mcp__wps__search_files |
| Read this document / spreadsheet / presentation | read_file / sheet.get_range_data / read_slide |
| Create a new docx with the content: … | create_file_with_content |
| Export this presentation to PDF | wpp.export.export.pdf |
The complete tool list can be viewed using the wps_test command.
Notes¶
- Personal accounts only: The plugin currently supports only WPS personal accounts. Enterprise accounts are rejected.
- Token security: The token is stored in plaintext in the local file
~/.dsh/dsh-wps.json. Make sure the file permissions are set correctly (mode 0600). - Custom authorization flow: Because the WPS OAuth discovery endpoint returns
404, the plugin implements a customauth-guide+exchange-pollauthorization flow.
