Introduction¶
The core philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” When handling daily tasks systematically, manually maintaining checklists is inefficient. As a plugin, dsh-task-dispatcher uses TickTick as DSH’s daily task dispatcher: a timer pulls today’s To-Dos, writes them into a task file, and notifies the Agent through a notification channel (WeChat/Flomo/macOS). The Agent reads the file and executes the tasks, then writes the results back to TickTick.
Plugin Role¶
- Name: dsh-task-dispatcher
- Maintainer: zhengjy01
- Function: Converts TickTick task lists into Markdown files readable by DSH, and supports automatic execution and result feedback.
Core Features¶
1. Scheduled Dispatch and Task Fetching
* Timer: Polls once per minute by default (ctx.interval). The interval can be adjusted via configuration, or manually triggered with dispatcher_run.
* Task source: Fetches tasks by default from TickTick’s 5️⃣AI list. Supports configuring projectName, projectId, and dueMode (today fetches only today’s / overdue / undated tasks; all fetches all incomplete tasks).
* File writing: Writes fetched tasks into a Markdown checklist file (default path: ~/.dsh/dsh-task-dispatcher/today-tasks.md).
2. Execution and Result Feedback
* Automatic execution: When enabled, each task is executed serially in a separate dsh --profile headless session.
* Result feedback: After a task completes, a notification is pushed (OK/FAIL plus a brief result). Batch execution outputs a summary. Execution logs output results via stdout and reasoning via stderr.
* Timeout control: Each Worker has an independent timeout, default 30 minutes (range 1-1440 minutes).
3. Notification Channels
* Supports three notification methods: WeChat (via local ClawBot gateway), Flomo, and macOS (AppleScript).
* Change notification: Notifies only when the task list changes or a task execution completes; no notification is sent when there are no new tasks.
* WeChat configuration: Sends through local gateway http://127.0.0.1:51235; the default recipient is the account under ClawBot’s status directory.
4. Cheap Mode
* Supports automatically executing tasks during DeepSeek’s off-peak hours to save costs. Requires configuring cheapPreset and peakWindows.
5. Workspace and Synchronization
* Workspace: The working directory for automatic execution Workers is configurable (defaults to the user’s home directory) and can be specified as a DSH workspace ID for workspace-based display in the GUI.
* Deferred sync panel: Provides a settings page to configure the silent threshold, session limit, and Launchd check interval, and supports manually forcing a queue refresh.
6. Agent Tools
* Provides command-line tools: dispatcher_status (view status), dispatcher_config (configure), dispatcher_run (manual run), dispatcher_report (view report).
Installation and Enabling¶
Prerequisites
* The dsh-ticktick plugin must already be installed to provide the data layer and OAuth credentials.
* DSH version must be >= 0.1.5-rc.1 (compatible with 0.2.0-rc.2).
* Using WeChat notifications requires the DSH-WeChatClawBot gateway running locally.
Installation steps
1. Run the installation command in the terminal:
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-task-dispatcher
- Restart the DSH Web service and ensure there are no loading errors.
- Confirm the plugin has loaded. Run
dispatcher_statusin the Agent; the output should show “Plugin status: enabled” and list the current configuration.
Typical Usage¶
- Manually trigger dispatch:
dispatcher_run
- View current configuration:
dispatcher_config
- Run a headless session:
dsh --profile headless
Notes¶
- File path: The task file is located by default at
~/.dsh/dsh-task-dispatcher/today-tasks.md. - WeChat dependency: WeChat notifications do not connect directly to WeChat servers. They must rely on the local
DSH-WeChatClawBotgateway and read the status under the~/.dsh-wechatdirectory by default. - Ecosystem position: This plugin is hosted in the SkillHub catalog and on GitHub, and is not directly affiliated with official DeepSeek.
Summary¶
dsh-task-dispatcher provides DSH with a standardized task scheduling entry point. It manages task flow through TickTick, interacts with the Agent via Markdown files, and supports automatic execution, result feedback, and cost control, making it suitable for developers who need automated daily task workflows.
