The core design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” For developers, integrating third-party capabilities through conversation is more intuitive and more efficient than manually editing configuration files. relay-dsh-plugin-manager was created to address this need. It is a standalone plugin that allows you to discover, install, update, enable, disable, and remove DSH plugins without leaving the chat window.

Core Features

This plugin is maintained by yangbobo2021 and is released under the MIT open-source license. It mainly provides the following capabilities:

  1. Full lifecycle management: Supports searching, installing, updating, enabling, disabling, and removing plugins within a conversation.

Installation and Enablement

To install this plugin, it must be added to the DSH Web configuration file. After running the following command, the plugin will appear in the “Recommended plugins” tab on the settings page:

dsh plugin --profile web add relay-dsh-plugin-manager@latest

After installation, the plugin management features will be available in the chat interface.

Typical Usage

You can describe your needs directly in the conversation or use the /plugins command. The following are specific examples:

  • Search for plugins:
    Enter in the conversation:

  • Search by owner:
    /plugins search owner:yangbobo2021
  • Install a plugin:

  • List installed plugins:

When installing multiple plugins, DSH generates a sequential plan and executes them one by one after a single confirmation.

Configuration and Notes

Registry Configuration

The plugin uses https://dsh-plugins.tech as the default Registry discovery provider. To change it, set an environment variable or plugin option:

Note: Non-local URLs must use the HTTPS protocol. To disable Registry discovery, set registryUrl: false.

Anonymous Usage Analytics

The plugin enables anonymous usage analytics by default to collect statistics on search and installation results. To disable analytics while keeping plugin management enabled, set the following environment variable when starting DSH Web:

RELAY_PLUGIN_MANAGER_TELEMETRY=0 dsh web

Compatibility

This plugin is compatible with DSH versions 0.1.2–alpha.3 and 0.1.2–rc.1.
