Installation and Enablement

Installing the plugin must be done via the CLI or the desktop app.

CLI Profile

Run the following command in the terminal:

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-context-management

Desktop App

The desktop profile of the desktop app (DeepSeek Harness.app) is exclusively managed by the app, and the CLI will reject writes. Install the same package in Settings → Plugins within the app.

Version Selection

If you encounter installation issues (such as pnpm supply-chain restrictions causing resolution of older versions), explicitly specify the version number:

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-context-management@0.9.12

For the desktop app, enter dsh-context-management@0.9.12 in the package name field under Settings → Plugins.

Notes

  1. Environment requirements: Requires the DSH 0.1.7 pre-release series (local 0.1.7-rc.1, desktop 0.1.7-rc.2) and Node.js ≥ 22.12.
  2. Permissions and security: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current dsh process; check the source code and license before installation.
  3. Profile restrictions: The desktop app exclusively manages the desktop profile, which cannot be modified via the CLI.
