Introduction¶
In the plugin ecosystem of DeepSeek Harness (DSH), Kidai series plugins (such as Kidai Plugin Marketplace and Kidai Snapshot Guardian) each have their own interfaces, scattered across the sidebar and settings. Kidai Hub collects all Kidai plugin interfaces into a single full-screen Hub: one click from the bottom of the sidebar, with each plugin panel managed through a dynamic tab bar inside the Hub. The core idea is: “If a Hub is available, use the Hub; if not, appear independently.”
Plugin Purpose¶
Kidai Hub is the unified container for Kidai series plugins. It is maintained by developer NokorinNishikino under the MIT license. It solves the problems of fragmented Kidai plugin interfaces and inconvenient management by aggregating all operation interfaces behind a single entry point.
Core Features¶
- Unified container: Kidai plugins register their interfaces into
kidai-hub.tabs; the Hub renders them using a dynamic tab bar, allowing all Kidai tools to be browsed from one Hub. - Sidebar quick access: A “Kidai Hub” button appears above “Settings” in the homepage sidebar; clicking it opens the full-screen Hub.
- Automatic fallback: When
kidai-hubis not installed, each Kidai plugin automatically falls back to its own standalone entry, with no impact on functionality. - Pure browser container: The host-side logic is no-op; all UI lives on the client side and does not modify DSH host logic.
- Tab and top-bar slots: Provides
kidai-hub.tabs(keyed type, root scope) andkidai-hub.header.actionslots for plugin integration. - Real-time updates: Tab registration/unregistration is immediately reflected in the Hub top bar, with no empty frames; the active tab automatically falls back to the first tab.
- Branding and language: Provides dedicated brand gradients for known plugins and supports both Chinese and English.
Installation and Enablement¶
Run the following command to install:
dsh plugin --profile desktop add github:NokorinNishikino/Kidai-Hub
Restart DSH for it to take effect. A “Kidai Hub” button appears above “Settings” in the homepage sidebar; click it to open the full-screen Hub.
Typical Usage¶
The way plugins integrate with the Hub is by registering the kidai-hub.tabs slot. When a plugin detects that the Hub is present, it hides its own standalone entry; when the Hub is not installed, it displays the standalone entry normally.
Example code:
ctx.slots.inject("kidai-hub.tabs", () => ctx.slots.register({
name: "kidai-hub.tabs",
key: "<plugin-id>", // 一个插件一个 key,通常用插件 id
order: 90, // 顶栏顺序(数字小的靠前)
label: () => t("tabTitle"), // 顶栏按钮文字(跟随 locale 的 thunk)
locale: "<NS>",
inject: () => ({ ...yourFns, t }),
}, YourTabPanel));
Notes¶
- Prerequisites: Requires a locally available
pnpm(or thepnpmbundled with DSH) and access to GitHub. - Version: The current version is 1.0.1.
Summary¶
After installing Kidai Hub, all integrated Kidai plugin interfaces are brought together into the same Hub. Through its unified container and sidebar entry, it simplifies the workflow for managing multiple plugins.
