Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) provides powerful capabilities in agent development, but conversation logs, command snippets, and drafts are often scattered across sessions. Retrieving context across sessions or saving content usually requires manual copying and pasting, which is inefficient. We need a centralized solution that brings “draft capture, session saving, branch continuation from snapshots, and pasting back into the input box” into a floating window, eliminating the need to browse history or repeatedly copy and paste.
Plugin Introduction¶
Kidai-Clipboard is a DSH global advanced clipboard plugin maintained by NokorinNishikino. It addresses cross-session content management and branch continuation, combining clipboard functionality with session snapshots and supporting one-click branch continuation in new sessions.
Core Features¶
This plugin primarily provides the following capabilities:
* Cross-session clipboard and branch continuation: Save inputs and full sessions, then continue with one-click branching in new sessions.
* Dockable floating window and drag-to-organize: Provides a dockable floating window, supports drag-and-drop organization, and collapses into a vertical bar.
* Session snapshot truncation: When saving, you can choose “save up to a specific round” to truncate a branch midway.
* Obsidian-style folder tree and tag management: Provides a folder tree and tag management, with color marking support.
* Adjustable action button and resize handle positions: Both action button positions and resize handle positions are configurable.
* Drag-to-position collapsed capsule: The collapsed capsule can be dragged to a position, with its position remembered.
Installation and Enablement¶
Use the official command to add the plugin:
dsh plugin --profile desktop add git+https://github.com/NokorinNishikino/Kidai-Clipboard.git
After running the command, restart DSH for changes to take effect.
Typical Usage¶
- Open the window: After restarting DSH, the “Auto Clipboard” at the bottom of the sidebar automatically opens the window.
- Capture drafts: In the current input box, click one-click capture to save the draft to the clipboard.
- Save sessions: When saving a session snapshot, you can choose “save up to a specific round” to truncate the history.
- Branch continuation: Perform a native DSH fork on a saved snapshot to continue branching from the selected round with one click.
Use Cases and Notes¶
This plugin is suitable for DSH users who need long-term management of session branches, drafts, and context retrieval.
Notes:
* It depends on DSH frontend services sessions, conversation, and remote.session. If a service is unavailable, the plugin displays a prompt.
* Data storage has constraints: items ≤ 5000, session records ≤ 8000, transcripts ≤ 1 MB.
* For local development, run node scripts/sync-install.mjs to sync to the profile.
Conclusion¶
Kidai-Clipboard uses a floating window and snapshot mechanism to centralize the management of scattered conversation content, providing a more coherent workflow for agent development. For more details, refer to its GitHub repository.
