Introduction

In the DeepSeek Harness plugin ecosystem, dsh-oauth-openai once served as an independent model adaptation component for handling the OpenAI Codex OAuth authentication flow. With the iterative enhancements of DSH main program features, this plugin has entered maintenance mode and is no longer recommended as a new integration point.

Plugin Positioning

dsh-oauth-openai is a retired plugin, with core functionality including an OpenAI Codex OAuth provider and a model adapter. It is maintained by hrhgit and follows the MIT license. Currently, the repository only retains migration history and will no longer receive feature updates.

Core Features

  • OpenAI Codex OAuth provider
  • Model adapter

Migration and Uninstallation

Because this plugin has been retired, it is recommended to remove it from the configuration file. If you are using older Codex packages, run the following command to remove both and avoid duplication or conflicts:

dsh plugin --profile web remove dsh-openai-codex dsh-oauth-openai

Note: Do not install either of these packages, and do not attempt to replace other packages with retired ones.

Current Solution

DeepSeek Harness has a built-in openai-codex OAuth flow, including credential persistence, refresh mechanisms, and model routing functionality. The related implementation is located in the @deepseek-ai/dsh-llm-pi-ai package.
