Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) provides plugin extension capabilities. Developers often face issues with disorganized management of structured content while using it. xiashuo is a plugin for DSH, aimed at providing project-level management and workflow support for creating courses, official documents, novels, papers, and other content, helping bridge gaps in the workflows of writing, validation, and collaboration across multiple document types.

Plugin Introduction

This is an AI course-authoring workspace plugin for DeepSeek Harness (DSH). It is maintained by user bettermen and is licensed under the MIT license.
Its core value is structuring the creation process: use the homepage to manage projects uniformly, and combine editable workflows with gate mechanisms to ensure content advances step by step; at the same time, use the knowledge graph and Lorebook to solidify knowledge points, and support exporting and collaboration.

Core Features

The plugin provides the following core capabilities:

  1. Homepage project management

    • Supports card and list views, displaying type, status, progress, and word count.
    • Provides filtering (by type, status, keyword) and sorting (by time, name, etc.).
    • Supports creating, editing, copying, archiving, and deleting projects.
  2. Multi-type support and editable workflows

    • Built-in four types: course (nine stages), official document (seven stages), novel (nine stages), and paper (eight stages).
    • Supports user-defined types.
    • Workflows support drag-and-drop reordering, adding or removing stages, modifying gates and prompts, and provide template management.
  3. Three-pane workbench

    • Left pane: chapter list (supports drag-and-drop reordering), stage gate navigation, and process editor.
    • Middle pane: Markdown editor (supports autosave, code highlighting, and formatting toolbar).
    • Right pane: Lorebook (knowledge point management) and knowledge graph (visualized relationships).
  4. Gate-based writing process

    • You cannot enter the next stage until the previous stage is approved.
    • Each submission is archived, with support for rollback and audit logs.
  5. Lorebook and knowledge graph

    • The Lorebook is isolated per project, with support for adding, editing, disabling, and deleting knowledge points.
    • The knowledge graph visualizes node relationships and supports non-overlapping layout.
  6. Collaboration and export

    • Supports generating read-only or editable share links (with Token-based authentication), and supports multi-user collaboration and conflict detection.
    • Supports exporting to TXT or Word (.docx) format.

Installation and Activation

Before installation, ensure that DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is installed and the Node version in the runtime environment is ≥ 18.

Data is stored locally only and is not uploaded to the cloud.

  1. Download the plugin file (usually a .tgz package).
  2. Run the installation command in a terminal:
dsh plugin --profile web add <该文件路径>
  1. Run dsh plugin list to confirm that the plugin is listed.
  2. Refresh the DSH page (Ctrl+Shift+R). The Xiashuo entry will appear in the sidebar.

Typical Usage

  1. Create a project: Open the Xiashuo homepage, click + New Project, select a type (for example, course) and subject, and fill in the description.
  2. Write content: Enter the project workbench, switch chapters in the left pane, and write the Markdown body in the middle pane. It is autosaved 2 seconds after typing stops.
  3. Manage the process: In the left pane, use the Process page to adjust stage order or edit gate conditions.
  4. Manage knowledge: Add knowledge points in the Lorebook on the right pane, and view the structure in the Knowledge Graph.
  5. Export and collaborate: Click Export at the top to download the document, or click Share to generate a collaboration link.

Precautions

  • Data path: All data is stored locally at ~/.dsh/xiashuo/, including the projects, lorebook, and templates directories, among others.
  • Sharing security: Share links use a separate public /share/ path and Token-based authentication, without exposing admin credentials.
  • License: MIT license; open-source use.
