Introduction¶
In DeepSeek Harness (DSH), archived sessions are hidden but do not automatically disappear from the file system. As the number of archived sessions grows, manual management can become cumbersome. This plugin adds an “Archived Sessions” page to the settings panel, providing a list view and supporting single-item or batch restore and delete operations.
Plugin Information¶
- Name: dsh-archived-sessions
- Description: Adds an “Archived Sessions” page to the DSH settings panel: lists all archived sessions and supports one-click restore.
- Maintainer: kaelorvyn
- Category: Memory
- License: MIT
Core Features¶
- Session List: Lists all archived sessions in the settings panel, displaying the title, working directory, and last active time.
- Restore Sessions: Supports restoring a single session or multiple sessions at once. Restored sessions reappear in the sidebar.
- Permanent Deletion: Supports permanently deleting a single session file or multiple session files in bulk, directly freeing up disk space.
- Batch Operations: Supports multi-select mode, allowing you to select individual rows or all rows to perform batch restore or delete.
- Real-Time Updates: After an operation, there is no need to refresh the page; the interface updates immediately.
- Data Persistence: Archive data is stored in the DSH workspace registry, so data is not lost after a restart.
Installation and Enablement¶
Install from the command line:
dsh plugin --profile <profile> add github:kaelorvyn/dsh-archived-sessions
After installation, restart DSH and open the “Settings” menu to find the “Archived Sessions” page.
Common Usage¶
UI Operations¶
- Open any session and enter “Settings”.
- Click “Archived Sessions”.
- Single Operation: Click the “Restore” or “Permanently Delete” button on a row.
- Batch Operation: Click the “Multi-select” button at the top, select one or more rows (or “Select All”), then click “Batch Restore” or “Permanently Delete”.
Command Operations¶
Single or multiple operations can be performed from the command line:
/archive <session-id> [more-ids…]
/unarchive <session-id> [more-ids…]
/purge <session-id> [more-ids…]
Notes¶
- Irreversible Deletion: Once a session file is permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered. Proceed with caution.
- Ghost Entries: After deleting a session, the entry remains in the archive collection (a ghost entry) until it is restored again or permanently deleted again.
- Codex Source Files: When permanently deleting a session imported from Codex, the source file is also deleted (source files are usually large).
- Usage Limitation: Only sessions in the archive collection can be deleted. Sessions currently in use cannot be deleted.
- Compatible Version: This plugin is compatible with DSH 0.1.2-rc.1.
