Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) uses a plugin-based architecture. In model inference and engineering computation scenarios, developers often need to handle electrical and electronic formulas or solve complex circuit problems. Traditional manual calculations are prone to errors, while relying directly on large models often lacks precise numerical results. The ElectroLab plugin provides DSH with structured electrical and electronic calculation capabilities through a built-in deterministic engine, ensuring that every calculation is based on deterministic internal logic.
What Is This¶
curtainsmall/dsh-electro-lab is an electrical and electronic calculation plugin for DeepSeek Harness, maintained by curtainsmall. The project is released under the MIT License and currently has about 2 Stars. It does not depend on external shell, filesystem, or network access; all calculations occur inside the plugin, aiming to provide precise numerical results and a traceable calculation process.
Installation and Activation¶
Install the plugin using the official command:
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-electro-lab
Core Features¶
- ElectroLab Mode Agent Preset: After switching to ElectroLab Mode in a session, the Agent uses natural language to handle electrical and electronic problems.
- Deterministic Engine and Solvers: Includes 38 built-in solvers covering algebra, circuits, signal processing, and other domains. Core commands include
set(write a value),get(read a value), andcall(run a solver). - Records and Review: The calculation process is recorded and generates a timeline. In the Records tab, you can view, multi-select, or delete history records.
- Article Generation: Supports exporting calculation records as Markdown or LaTeX articles.
- Custom External Solvers: Allows registering HTTP solvers; you need to edit the configuration file, and changes take effect after a host restart.
Typical Usage¶
- Switch to ElectroLab Mode in a session and ask questions in natural language.
- Interact with the engine using raw commands such as
set, get, andcall. - View history records in the Records tab, or add custom HTTP solvers through that tab.
- Generate Markdown or LaTeX articles from records.
Notes¶
- Session Isolation: During plugin execution, there is no shell, filesystem, or network access.
- Configuration Activation: Changes to external solver configuration require a host restart to take effect.
- Environment Dependencies: Generating LaTeX articles requires installing the latexmk or texify + xelatex toolchain.
Summary¶
The ElectroLab plugin provides a reliable electrical and electronic calculation solution for DSH. The project is hosted on GitHub, and more details can be found on SkillHub.
