DeepSeek Harness (DSH) supports extending model capabilities through plugins. This plugin integrates WorkBuddy China Region models into DSH, aiming to address the issue of accessing WorkBuddy models within DSH. The plugin supports two authentication methods: API Key and account token, and provides a complete model management and credential configuration interface in the WebUI. It is a third-party adapter and is not an official WorkBuddy or DSH project.

Installation and Enablement

Run the following command in your terminal to install the plugin:

npx --yes @axiaohungry/dsh-llm-workbuddy@latest install

After installation is complete, restart DeepSeek Harness.

Configuration

After installation, open Settings → Models in the DSH WebUI. In the next version, click “Add Model Provider” and select WorkBuddy China Region from “Third-party Model Providers”.

Authentication Configuration

In the model card, the authentication area is divided into two modes and can be switched at any time:

1. API Key Mode
* Supports reading from the environment variable WORKBUDDY_API_KEY.
* Supports saving multiple keys in the plugin interface and switching between them.

2. Token Login Mode
* Click “Login” or “Add Account” to complete authorization for the WorkBuddy China site in your browser.
* Tokens are automatically refreshed before they expire.
* The page displays remaining credits, today’s request count, and credit usage.

Model Management

In the WorkBuddy China Region model card, click “Fetch Available Models”. The plugin will request the WorkBuddy model catalog based on the currently selected authentication method.

After fetching, you can:
* Select the model(s) to use.
* Use “Add Model” to supplement the list.
* Edit the model ID, display name, context window, maximum output tokens, and thinking tier.
* Click “Save Model” to persist the changes.

Notes

  • Third-party Nature: This plugin is a third-party adapter and is not an official WorkBuddy or DSH project.
  • Data Storage: Authentication credentials (API Key and login token) are not written to settings.yaml.
  • After Upgrading: After upgrading the plugin, please fully exit and restart DSH to ensure the configuration takes effect.
