The core architecture of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” During long-term use, historical sessions are archived and stored, but these sessions usually only exist in the underlying database or file system, lacking an intuitive Web management interface. The dsh-archived-list plugin solves this problem. It adds a dedicated “Archived / Archived” management entry to the Web settings page, allowing you to directly view, restore, or delete these sessions.

Plugin Positioning

  • Name: dsh-archived-list
  • Maintainer: Yiklek
  • Category: Memory
  • License: MIT

The plugin shadows the restore write path of workspaceRegistry through a standalone Web page, making management operations for archived sessions visible.

Core Features

The plugin mainly provides the following capabilities:

  1. Navigation and grouping: Adds an “Archived” navigation row to the Web settings page. The list is grouped by workspace, sorted in reverse chronological order within each group, and displays the total number of sessions.
  2. Session information: Each row displays the session title (preferring the retroactive log title, falling back to the client list or directory name) and the full Session ID (supports select-to-copy).
  3. Multi-selection operations: Supports selecting multiple rows, as well as selecting all items within a workspace group. The toolbar displays “N items selected” and provides restore, delete, and deselect actions.
  4. Restore mechanism: After clicking restore, the plugin removes the Session ID from the archivedSessionIds set and restores the session state to active. By default, it does not automatically open the conversation and keeps the settings page open. The page includes two toggles for configuring “Automatically open after restore” and “Close settings page after restore.”
  5. Permanent deletion: Clicking delete triggers a secondary confirmation. The operation sequence is: reject live session requests -> read the persisted header to locate the log -> detach the session accounting relationship -> remove the ID from the archived set -> delete the log directory on disk.

Installation and Enablement

Install using the official CLI:

npx @deepseek-ai/dsh plugin --profile web add github:Yiklek/dsh-archived-list

After installation, restart the DSH service (dsh web) to load the plugin configuration.

You can verify whether the plugin has correctly injected its configuration using the following command:

dsh --profile web --dump-config | grep -A2 archived-list

Typical Usage

  1. Start dsh web.
  2. Open the Web settings page in a browser.
  3. Click “Archived / Archived” in the left navigation sidebar.
  4. Select the sessions you want to restore or delete, then use the top toolbar to perform the corresponding action.

Notes

  • Service endpoints: The remote service namespace is archvList, which includes three endpoints: archvList/list, archvList/restore, and archvList/destroy.
  • Dependency check: Ensure that the @deepseek-ai/dsh-typert-protocol and @deepseek-ai/cordis packages in your project are symbolic links (symlinks) to the DSH installation directory. If these packages point to physical copies instead of DSH itself, sessions in the list will be displayed as “(No Title).”
  • Accounting logic: The archive operation only removes the session ID and does not affect workspace accounting statistics; restore and delete operations are its inverse processes.

This plugin is suitable for DSH users who need to directly manage historical sessions and restore important conversation context in a Web interface. For more details, refer to the project directory or source repository.
