Introduction¶
The DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugin dsh-fingerprint-relay is used to address issues where DSH cannot access certain providers. These providers restrict clients based on TLS fingerprints. When a provider works normally in a browser or its official CLI but DSH returns unauthorized client detected or 403, the plugin processes requests by running a local Python outbound process. The upstream allowlist trusts this process, which forwards DSH requests to the target provider.
Plugin Information¶
- Name: dsh-fingerprint-relay
- Owner: Wilfred-wei
- License: MIT
- Core feature: Manage the local fingerprint relay so that DSH can reach providers that restrict clients by TLS fingerprint.
Installation¶
The plugin is installed with a PowerShell script that handles plugin registration, Python virtual environment creation, dependency installation, and writing the interpreter path.
git clone https://github.com/Wilfred-wei/dsh-fingerprint-relay.git
cd dsh-fingerprint-relay
.\scripts\install.ps1
After installation, DSH Desktop must be restarted for the changes to take effect.
Configuration and Usage¶
Configuration involves adding a local relay in DSH settings and then routing the provider through that relay.
- Open DSH settings and navigate to Fingerprint relay.
- Click Add relay.
- Configure the upstream URL as
https://agentrouter.organd the local port as7187. - Click Start. The status should change to
running / healthy. - Under Providers through a relay, point the Anthropic provider to the relay you just created.
- If using a new-api style gateway, set the provider protocol to
anthropic-messages.
Notes¶
- Channel support: Only Anthropic Messages channels are supported. Native OpenAI endpoints are not supported.
- Network: The relay process listens on
127.0.0.1only. - Platform: Windows only.
- Effect: After changing the configuration, DSH Desktop must be restarted.
- Key security: The API key remains in the provider configuration; the relay does not store keys.
