Preface

In the development workflow of DeepSeek Harness (DSH), the order of the message queue directly determines the execution logic of the agent. When you need to process a batch of prompts or build a long-form text, manually sending them one by one is time-consuming and can easily interrupt your flow. The dsh-queue-director plugin intervenes directly in the web interface, allowing you to reorder the queue before the agent processes the messages.

What Is This?

dsh-queue-director is a DSH web plugin maintained by loklamlok, designed to solve the problem of a fixed queue message order. It does not modify the DSH source code; instead, it is mounted through dsh.profile.bundles and runs as a plugin.

Core Features

  1. Ordering Controls: Each message in the queue gets ↑ / ↓ buttons; after expanding the queue, “Move to Top” and “Move to Bottom” labels appear. You can also drag a message row directly, or use its ⠿ handle, to reorder.
  2. Batch Operations: Provides a “Send All Now” action that pushes all pending messages to the AI at once; provides a “Clear Queue” action with a mandatory two-step confirmation to prevent accidental operations.
  3. Integration: The plugin preserves DSH’s built-in queue behavior, including preview, inline editing, removal, and immediate sending (Steer).
  4. Hot Updates: After a plugin update, the DSH service does not need to be restarted. Client-side HMR automatically takes effect after a new bundle is pushed; refreshing the page is enough.

Installation and Enablement

The plugin has not yet been published to npm and must be installed from source. In the DSH web configuration directory, mount the plugin through dsh.profile.bundles.
