Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) uses a plugin-based architecture and is highly extensible. However, top toolbar buttons added by plugins can make the interface cluttered and affect the user experience. The dsh-topbar-manager plugin solves this problem by providing visibility control for top buttons and supporting persistent configuration.
What Is It¶
This is a Web plugin maintained by baihejiangnan. Its core function is to inspect and manage the visibility of buttons in the top toolbar that were added by other plugins. It supports saving button visibility settings to the DSH profile, so they persist after refreshing the page or reopening DSH.
Core Features¶
The plugin provides inspection and toggle controls through the settings interface, including:
- Inspect and Toggle: Click Inspect to scan the current top bar for buttons added by plugins, and use ON/OFF toggles to control their visibility.
- Default Policy: Hide Diff, Conversation Management, and Delete This Conversation by default; show Undo/Restore/Snapshot and Session Changes by default.
- Source Detection: Identify the source plugin for each button. When clicking Inspect, record a button from the same plugin only once.
- Ignore Native Buttons: Ignore native DSH buttons (such as Session log) and buttons whose source cannot be confirmed; they are not recorded or manipulated.

Installation¶
Install it using the official command. Note that the command must specify --profile web.
dsh plugin --profile web add github:baihejiangnan/dsh-topbar-manager
After installation, restart dsh web for the plugin to take effect.
Typical Usage¶
- Open Settings → Top Button Management;
- Click Inspect to scan the current top bar for buttons added by plugins;
- Use the ON/OFF toggle to control the visibility of each button.
Use Cases and Notes¶
- Persistent Configuration: Button visibility settings are saved to the DSH profile and persist after refreshing the page or reopening DSH.
- Ignored Items: Native DSH buttons (including Session log) and buttons whose source cannot be confirmed are ignored and are not recorded or manipulated.
- Feedback: If a top button from a plugin cannot be identified or managed by this plugin, submit an Issue on GitHub.
