Introduction

In the DSH plugin ecosystem, dsh-memoryleak focuses on solving memory and context management issues in agent development and usage. It does not rely on external services; instead, it stores notes, to-do items, and accumulated knowledge as local Markdown files. All data is kept in a user-specified Vault folder, making it easy to manage directly with Git or view in an editor.

Core Features

This plugin provides a complete localized memory management solution:

  • Local Markdown file storage: All data is stored as plain text and is compatible with Git and any editor.
  • /ml command for journaling: Quickly record daily ideas or logs.
  • /ml todo for to-do management: Supports three types—deadline, sleep (wake-up date), and anytime—and three priority levels: urgent/medium/low.
  • /ml note to distill conversations into a knowledge base: Organize the current conversation into work records and knowledge files.
  • /ml ask to retrieve knowledge from the Vault: Answer questions based on the local knowledge base.
  • /ml mail to read emails incrementally: Read the work mailbox and extract to-do items; the original messages are not stored in the Vault.
  • /ml view for fuzzy file opening: Quickly open any file in the Vault.
  • Right-side Dock notes panel: Provides a persistent workspace.

Installation and Activation

Install it using the official installation command:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:warmwine/dsh-memoryleak

After installation, restart DSH Web to activate it. Use /ml help to view all commands.

Typical Usage

1. Record a journal entry

Enter /ml followed by the content you want to record, and it will be automatically written to the day’s log file.

/ml 明天找财务对一下发票

2. Manage to-do items

Use /ml todo add to add a to-do item. It supports three types:
* d / 1: deadline (a date is required)
* s / 2: sleep (set an awake date)
* a / 3: anytime (no date required)

/ml todo add 交季度报告

3. Distill a conversation into knowledge

After a work conversation ends, run /ml note. The plugin will pass the conversation to the current model for organization and generate work records and knowledge files (stored in the MOMENTO directory).

/ml note

4. Retrieve local knowledge

Ask the agent directly. It will retrieve relevant knowledge from the Vault and provide an answer.

/ml ask 生产主库的端口是多少?

5. Read emails incrementally

After configuring an IMAP account, use /ml mail read to read only new emails received since the last read. The original emails are stored only in the system temporary directory, while the analysis results are written to the Vault.

/ml mail read

6. Fuzzy-open a file

Use /ml view followed by part of a filename, and the system will list candidate files for you to choose and open.

/ml view

Notes

  • Privacy warning: Use with caution in shared workspaces to prevent your data from being distilled.
  • Command convention: Do not add text after /ml note; any content following it will not be sent to the assistant.
  • Read-only operations: /ml ask and /ml mail are read-only operations and will not modify files in the Vault.
  • Secure storage: Original emails are written only to the system temporary directory; credentials are stored in the local settings.yaml and not in the Vault.
  • Environment requirements: Node.js >= 20 is required.
  • Version: The current version is 0.17.0.

Summary

dsh-memoryleak provides a lightweight, localized memory solution. Through its /ml command system, it integrates journaling, to-do management, a knowledge base, and email reading, with all content stored as Markdown files. It is suitable for developers who prioritize data control and privacy security.
