DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugin system supports extending functionality through profile bundles. Wooden Fish Pet is a desktop pet plugin that provides visual feedback by simulating tapping behavior and is used to record daily tap counts. The plugin is maintained by ShenpingDD, licensed under MIT, and makes no network requests at runtime.
Core Features¶
- Interaction and Feedback: The wooden fish floats on the page and can be dragged to move. When clicked, the wooden fish shakes, swings, and creates a ripple effect, while displaying a floating “+1” label.
- Data Statistics: Data are aggregated and stored by date (
YYYY-MM-DD). In the “Settings → Wooden Fish” page, users can view statistics cards and a calendar heatmap (supports 3/6/12 month range switching). - Persistence and State: The wooden fish’s position and display state are automatically restored after restart.
- Theme Adaptation: The wooden fish and heatmap automatically read DSH theme tokens, adapting to light/dark and custom themes.
- Environment Constraints: Runs purely locally with no network requests; no audio feedback, providing a visual experience only.
Installation and Enabling¶
Run the following command in the DSH terminal to install the plugin. After installation, restart DSH, and the wooden fish will automatically appear in the bottom-right corner of the page.
dsh plugin --profile web add --config.minimumReleaseAge=0 -w github:ShenpingDD/wooden-fish-dsh
Usage¶
- Click: Triggers a tap, increments the count by 1, and shows the animation.
- Drag: Move the wooden fish; the position is saved.
- Hover: Shows a bubble with today’s count.
- Settings: View the heatmap and statistics.
- Toggle: Control visibility in Settings.
Technical Notes and Considerations¶
- Data Storage: The data file is located at
$DSH_HOME/wooden-fish-data.json. - Version Dependency: DSH 0.1.5 is required, and the injection ID (
@deepseek-ai/dsh-client-ui-renderer) must exist. - No Sound: The current version supports visual feedback only.
