Introduction¶
The DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugin ecosystem emphasizes “everything as plugins.” In addition to functional tools, developers often need some visual companionship or feedback during long coding sessions. The mypet plugin provides a Tamagotchi-style virtual pet for the DSH desktop client. It is not just an icon on the screen; it also features living animations such as breathing float, automatic blinking, and tail wagging, and it can change the ambient atmosphere based on time of day, weather, and pet status.
Plugin Information¶
- Name: mypet
- Author: qiqikuaidianpao
- Category: Fun Dress-Up
- License: MIT
Core Features¶
Living Animations¶
The pet features animations such as breathing float, automatic blinking, and tail wagging. Clicking the pet triggers a bounce effect, and hovering over it shows a smile. During idle time, the pet may stroll around, and it may dream while sleeping. Time-based ambient light and weather particles change over time, such as orange tones in the early morning, blue during the day, blue at night, plus raindrops or snow effects.
Panel System¶
The plugin provides a four-tab panel:
- Status: Displays four progress bars for mood, energy, fullness, and bond, along with a trend line, buttons for petting/feeding/napping/playing, and daily tasks.
- Wardrobe: Provides skin switching, including 24 skins (6 common / 9 rare / 9 legendary) and rarity filtering.
- Achievements: Displays 26 milestones, progress bars, an event log, and a 7-day weekly report.
- More: Includes a ball-catching mini-game, single/10-pull gacha, renaming, sharing, personality changes, reincarnation, and save import/export.
Economy and Bond¶
- Economy System: Coins can be accumulated through work salary, combo-based increasing bonuses (5~25 per round), daily check-ins, weekly allowances, random treasure chests, daily tasks, and permanent boosts from reincarnation.
- Bond System: Interactions accumulate affection. When affection reaches thresholds, it can unlock critical effects and the ability to actively go on adventures and bring back coins.
Sound Effects and Celebrations¶
Built-in 12 Web Audio-synthesized sound effects. During level-ups, rare drops, or milestone completions, it triggers Canvas particle confetti rain, ring shockwaves, emoji particles, or golden ceremony banners.
Other Features¶
- Offline Return Settlement: When returning after disconnecting, offline progress and reports are settled.
- Shortcuts: Supports shortcuts such as 1-4 / P / F / N / L / D / Esc.
- Persistence: Panel position can be persisted, and status cards can be shared.
- Personality and Rhythm: Includes 6 personalities and a circadian rhythm.
Install and Enable¶
Use the official plugin management command to install it.
dsh plugin --profile web add mypet
After installation, restart DSH Web. A floating pet will appear on the screen and can be dragged.
Update and Uninstall¶
dsh plugin --profile web update mypet
dsh plugin --profile web remove mypet
Customization and Development¶
The plugin uses modular development. Before modifying the source code, note the following:
npm run build
After modifying src/client.js, run the command above to build and package it. lib/client.js is a build artifact and must not be modified manually.
Custom Configuration Items¶
The following can be adjusted in the source code:
- SKINS: Skin catalog (name + emoji + rarity)
- TRAITS: Personalities (6 types)
- DRAW_COST / SALARY_PER_TICK / PITY_CAP: Economy parameters
- ACH: Achievement definitions
- QUESTS: Daily tasks
- tick(): Decay speed
- MOUNT: Panel mounting method ("overlay" floating or "sidebar" sidebar)
Data and Notes¶
- Save Location: Pet state is stored in the browser’s
localStorage, with keymypet; the legacy compatibility key isdsh-pet:v1. - Export Code: The “More” tab supports exporting/importing save codes. The export code only includes game data (coins/skins/achievements/personality, etc.) and does not include historical trends or event logs.
- Dependencies: The project depends on
reactand@deepseek-ai/dsh-client-runtime.
Use Cases¶
Suitable for developers who want visual companionship during coding, enjoy raising virtual pets, or wish to make the DSH experience more fun.
