DSH adopts the “everything is a plugin” philosophy. Skills are part of plugins. Currently, viewing skills requires the / command, but there is no management functionality (such as deletion or disabling). dsh-skills-manager adds a “Skill Management” page to the settings panel, turning the skill directory into a manageable list.

dsh-skills-manager is a client plugin that allows managing installed skills in the DSH settings panel. It supports disable/enable and a recoverable trash.

Core Features

  1. Complete skill list: Supports search filtering and paginated browsing, with a customizable items-per-page option (10/20/50/100).
  2. Disable/enable skills: No need to uninstall and reinstall. A disabled skill is hidden from the / command list and can be re-enabled at any time.

Installation and Enabling

Install the plugin using the following commands.

Desktop:

dsh plugin --profile desktop add @jiangdaoli/dsh-skills-manager

Web:

dsh plugin --profile web add @jiangdaoli/dsh-skills-manager

After installation, restart DSH and view it under Settings → Skill Management.

Typical Usage

  • After installation, restart DSH and go to the “Skill Management” page in the settings panel.
  • Enter keywords in the list to search and filter.
  • Use paginated browsing to customize the number of items displayed per page.
  • Click the disable/enable button to toggle a skill’s state without reinstalling.
  • After deleting a skill, it moves to the trash and can be restored at any time.

Notes

  1. DSH skills can only be viewed using the / command in the session input box. This plugin adds a management page to the settings panel.
  2. You must install it from npm. The GitHub repository contains source code, and direct installation may be missing files. Please check the source code and license before installing.
  3. Built-in skills are marked as read-only and cannot be accidentally deleted.
  4. All modification operations are protected by security boundaries and are only allowed for paths such as ~/.dsh/skills.

Summary

dsh-skills-manager provides visual panel controls for DSH skill management, solving the problem that skills cannot be managed under the / command. The recoverable trash mechanism and read-only protection reduce the risk of accidental operations.
