Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture, designed to modularize complex capabilities. During development or use, developers may need to manage multiple different workbenches. Manually adding, switching, or updating these workbenches often requires editing configuration files or performing command-line operations, which can be a cumbersome process. The PackHub Workbench Assistant aims to address this pain point by providing standardized workbench management capabilities for DSH Desktop.

Plugin Overview

The PackHub Workbench Assistant is a DSH Desktop plugin maintained by developer eomis. It provides a one-stop solution for workbench code installation, workbench switching, and update management in DSH Desktop. This plugin is integrated through DSH’s plugin mechanism and does not rely on complex external configuration workflows; instead, it provides an operation entry point directly on the desktop client.

Core Features

This plugin currently provides the following three core capabilities:

  1. Add Workbench: Enter a workbench code to add a new workbench instance in DSH Desktop.
  2. Switch Workbench: Quickly switch between the default DSH workbench and other installed workbenches.
  3. Update Management: Receive workbench update requests and support one-click installation of updates.

Installation and Enablement

After the plugin is listed in the marketplace, it can be installed in the following ways:

Via DSH Plugin Marketplace

Search for “PackHub Workbench Assistant” in the DSH Desktop plugin marketplace and complete the installation.

Manual Installation (Current Method)
