Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture, and its plugin ecosystem is gradually expanding. When looking for suitable plugins, developers usually have to leave the DSH interface and manually browse GitHub repositories, read source code, and review documentation, which is inefficient. The DSH Plugin Registry plugin integrates the plugin directory directly into the DSH settings interface, allowing users to search, browse, and compare plugin information before installation.
Core Features¶
The plugin provides a complete workflow for plugin discovery and evaluation:
- Search and Filtering: Search by plugin name, repository URL, description, and supported feature capabilities.
- Category Browsing: Browse by categories, including Vision, UI, Terminal, Developer Tools, Browser, Security, Workflows, Remote Access, and more.
- Pre-installation Comparison: View GitHub Stars, registry status, repository status, security signal summary, and compatibility evidence before installing.
- Ecosystem Sorting: Sort plugins by popularity, recent updates, newly indexed, or alphabetical order.
- Installation Assistance: Provide installation commands collected and verified by the registry, with one-click copy support.
- Detailed View: Click to go to dshplugin.app to view complete plugin intelligence, source code information, and detailed documentation.
Installation and Enabling¶
The plugin is currently in the pre-release stage. The npm package will be published after the registry API and DSH integration have completed end-to-end testing.
The installation command is as follows:
dsh plugin --profile web add dshplugin-registry
After installation, open Settings → Plugin Registry in the DSH interface to access the plugin directory.
Typical Usage¶
- Enter a keyword in the registry interface to search for plugins with specific features.
- Browse plugin lists in different categories to quickly locate the type of tool you need.
- Before installing, evaluate plugin quality by reviewing GitHub Stars, security signals, and compatibility evidence.
- Copy the installation command provided by the plugin and run it in the terminal.
Use Cases and Notes¶
This plugin is suitable for developers who need to quickly discover and evaluate the plugin ecosystem within DSH.
Notes:
* Permission Control: The plugin does not automatically execute installation commands; users must manually confirm and run the installation operation, maintaining control over their environment.
* Privacy Protection: The registry does not transmit prompts, workspace files, model configurations, or the list of installed plugins.
* Communication Method: The plugin uses a local proxy, and the DSH browser client communicates only with its own host to ensure data security.
Conclusion¶
By integrating the plugin directory into DSH settings, the plugin discovery workflow changes from external navigation to internal operation, reducing evaluation overhead. Complete plugin intelligence and source code information can be viewed in its GitHub repository.
