DeepSeek Harness (DSH) extends functionality through plugins, but managing installed plugins via the command line (such as checking versions, enabling, or disabling them) requires frequently switching between terminals. DSH Plugin Market is a local-first plugin management interface that adds a visual plugin management entry point to DSH.
The project is maintained by ToBeWin and aims to simplify plugin lifecycle management through a local dashboard while maintaining full compatibility with official commands.
Core Features¶
DSH Plugin Market adds a top-level menu item in DSH Settings and provides the following capabilities:
- Plugin list display: View version numbers, sources, and enabled status of installed plugin packages under the current Profile.
- Plugin control: Enable or disable plugin packages directly in the active configuration file.
- Lifecycle management: Perform installation, update, and removal operations by delegating to the official
dsh plugincommand. - Local-only execution: The visual dashboard runs only on
127.0.0.1and does not expose services to the LAN or the internet. - Language follow-through: The interface language follows the English or Chinese selection in DSH Settings.
Installation and Enablement¶
Installing this plugin requires DSH’s package management command, followed by restarting DSH Web Host for the changes to take effect.
dsh plugin --profile web add @tobewin/dsh-plugin-market
After the restart is complete, open the Settings menu to find the new Plugin Market entry.
Typical Usage¶
Via the GUI¶
- Restart DSH Web Host.
- Open Settings.
- Click Plugin Market.
- View the status of installed plugins in the list and click the buttons to enable or disable plugins.
Via the CLI¶
Developers or advanced users can also check status or control plugins manually through the CLI:
# 列出插件状态
node lib/cli.js list --profile web
# 启用特定插件
node lib/cli.js enable @scope/plugin --profile web
# 禁用特定插件
node lib/cli.js disable @scope/plugin --profile web
# 更新特定插件
node lib/cli.js update @scope/plugin --profile web
# 移除特定插件
node lib/cli.js remove @scope/plugin --profile web --yes
# 启动本地可视化仪表板
node lib/cli.js serve --profile web
Architecture and Notes¶
Local-First Architecture¶
DSH Plugin Market is not a hosted marketplace or catalog service. It does not provide cloud catalogs, user accounts, analytics, telemetry, or remote databases. All data is read from the local DSH Profile configuration files, all operations are performed through official commands, and no Profile information is sent to ToBeWin or other services.
Permissions and Security¶
- Restart required: Changes to enabling or disabling plugin packages take effect only after restarting the DSH process.
- Source code review: Review the plugin repository and permissions before installation.
- License: This project uses the MIT License.
Summary¶
DSH Plugin Market is a local-first plugin management tool. It converts cumbersome CLI operations into a visual interface while strictly following DSH’s local-first principles and relying on no remote services. For users who frequently manage plugins across multiple Profiles, it is a practical utility.
