Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is a plugin-based agent development framework. In practice, developers often need to export conversation records into a format that is easy to share and replay. The native /export command in DSH downloads a raw log archive, which is suitable for machine processing. This plugin addresses that pain point by converting DSH sessions into self-contained HTML files.

Plugin Positioning

This plugin is maintained by zoyluoblue and is a DSH client plugin. It exports DSH sessions into dependency-free HTML files, supporting millisecond-accurate real replay, searchable complete conversation records, and faithful rendering of tool cards.

Core Features

  1. Self-contained file: Exported as an HTML file (no dependencies), with CSS, JavaScript, and images inlined. Double-click to open it on any static host; it supports offline use (zero external requests).
  2. Real replay: Includes millisecond-accurate real replay of streaming output. The player supports speed adjustment, and long pauses are automatically compressed to avoid stuttering.
  3. Conversation record: The page displays the complete conversation by default and supports searching and the Ctrl+F shortcut. Even without running JavaScript, you can view titles, timestamps, and statistics.
  4. Tool cards: Faithfully renders tool calls such as terminal output, search results, file reads, and web results, and resolves them within the same scope.
  5. Sub-agent sessions: Delegated sessions are displayed as inline collapsible blocks in the main timeline, including their own tool calls.
  6. Sensitive information masking: Credentials, paths, and similar items are masked in preview by default. Before export, you can inspect the preview list and dismiss false positives.
  7. Theme adaptation: Supports light, dark, and system themes, and adapts to mobile screens.

Installation and Activation

Run the following command to install the plugin. After installation, restart the dsh web process so that the “Replay” entry appears in the left navigation of the settings page.

dsh plugin --profile web add @zoytown/dsh-replay

Typical Usage

  1. Through the settings page: Open Settings -> Replay, select a session, preview the masked content, choose HTML or Markdown format, and export.
  2. Through the command line: In the conversation, use /share to export the current session as HTML, or /share markdown to export as Markdown.
  3. Through the tool: Ask the agent to run the session_export tool. It writes the session record to a local file and returns the path.

Applicable Scenarios and Notes

  • Environment requirements: Requires Node.js 22.19 or 24+ and a web profile configured with ctx.sessionQuery.
  • Output directory: The default output directory is $DSH_HOME/replay/ (i.e., ~/.dsh/replay/). The file naming format is <session-title>-<UTC timestamp>.<ext>.
  • Privacy and security: The plugin runs entirely locally and has no network access or telemetry. The exported HTML file itself does not make any external requests and can be opened in an offline environment.
  • License: MIT license.

Summary

After following the steps above, you can convert DSH sessions into self-contained HTML files locally. By using local processing and self-contained file output, this plugin addresses the need to share and replay DSH sessions while preserving data privacy.
