This is a floating window plugin for the DeepSeek Harness Web client, maintained by yhPrime. It does not fetch data directly, but relies on the ledger provided by dsh-cost-meter to render a balance health bar, an estimated remaining token ring, and a today’s consumption bar in the lower-left corner.

Core Features

  • Balance health bar (red): Intuitively displays the account balance.
  • Remaining token ring (blue): Estimates remaining available tokens based on the balance and current model unit price.
  • Today’s consumption bar: Displays today’s cumulative input/output/cache consumption.
  • Automatic refresh and adaptation: Polls and refreshes every 60 seconds; supports light/dark/follow-system themes and automatically reads semantic colors; automatically hides when the sidebar is narrowed (rail mode).

Installation and Activation

Before installing this plugin, make sure the following environment is ready:

  1. DeepSeek Harness version >= 0.1.0-rc.5.
  2. dsh-cost-meter plugin is installed and enabled (version v1.3.1+).

After confirming the environment is correct, install it using the following command:

dsh plugin --profile web add /path/to/dsh-balance-floating

After installation, refresh or restart Harness. You can then see the floating window in the lower-left corner of the sidebar.

Typical Usage

  • View details: Hover the mouse over the ring or bar to view the total/granted/top-up amount, the estimation basis (input/output/cache breakdown), and the call count.
  • Theme switching: Switch the theme in Settings → Appearance; the floating window colors will automatically follow.
  • Space management: When the sidebar is narrowed (rail mode), the floating window will automatically hide to avoid crowding the content area.

Configuration Notes

This plugin currently has no visual settings page. To adjust the scale or weights, you need to directly edit lib/client.js in the source code.
