In DSH Web, assistant replies, tool calls, and Think content are often mixed together and lack sufficient visual distinction. The dsh-conversation-accents plugin adds semantic color accents to help developers quickly identify different types of information.
This is an Alpha-stage plugin maintained by community developer YaoaY. It has no affiliation with or endorsement from the official DeepSeek team. It only modifies the display style of conversation content and does not change DSH’s navigation bar, input box, or overall page theme.
Main Features¶
- Semantic colors: Provides semantic colors for headings, emphasis, links, quotes, inline code, and code tokens.
- Area highlighting: Adds easily recognizable colors for successful tool calls and Think areas.
- Multi-theme support: Includes 7 built-in color schemes and supports light and dark modes.
- Custom configuration: Supports creating, editing, importing, and exporting custom color JSON files.
- Flexible management: You can disable the plugin colors at any time, and saved settings will not be lost.
Installation and Enablement¶
You need to install DSH Web first. It is recommended to install this plugin with the official command:
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-conversation-accents@alpha
After installation or updating, restart DSH Web and force-refresh the page in your browser.
After enabling the feature, configure it in DSH’s Settings -> Conversation Accents.
Configuration and Usage¶
On the settings page, you can perform the following actions:
- Global switch: Turn all colors on or off.
- Select a built-in color scheme: Choose one from the 7 built-in color schemes.
- Edit colors: Edit the colors separately for light mode and dark mode.
- Adjust inline code: Adjust the text and background colors of inline code.
- Import/export: Import or export a custom color JSON file.
Notes¶
- Version compatibility: The current version is developed and tested for DSH 0.1.2-rc.1. If you are using DSH 0.1.0-rc.x, use version 0.1.0-alpha.1.
- Privacy and security: The plugin does not collect analytics data and does not upload conversation content. Color settings are saved to the DSH Host or the browser’s local storage.
- Format restrictions: Custom colors accept only structured fields and
#RRGGBBcolor values, not arbitrary CSS. - Rendering safety: Think Markdown uses safe default settings and does not render raw HTML.
- Data persistence: Settings are saved to the DSH Host by default; if the plugin is unavailable, they are automatically saved in the current browser.
