Introduction

The plugin system for DeepSeek Harness (DSH) allows developers to extend the interface and behavior. dsh-rick is a C-137 themed skin plugin designed to add Rick and Morty-style posters, scenes, and interactive pets (Rick, Morty, and the portal gun) to the interface.

Core Features

The plugin adds a Skin row after the Appearance row, including Default, custom scenes, catalog 01-28, and an Add image option. At the same time, it maintains a persistent c137 namespace in $DSH_HOME/settings.yaml, containing the skin, skinBackground, skinBgOpacity, customScenes, and hiddenCatalog configurations. When the skin is switched to c137, the plugin renders overlay pets (up to 4) on shell.overlay and hosts the /dsh-c137/* routes for asset serving.

Installation and Activation

Install and enable the plugin using the following commands:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:xxxrickymorty-dev/dsh-rick
dsh web

After installation, go to Settings -> General -> Skin, and select a poster from the list to enable the C-137 skin.

Typical Usage

  1. Enable the skin: Select a poster in the Skin row. This activates the C-137 theme without changing the Appearance settings.
  2. Trigger a gag: Click Rick to trigger an English quote.
  3. Portal gun: Click the portal gun to draw it; click it again to fire a portal.
  4. Pocket mechanism: Drag Rick or Morty into the portal to store them away.
  5. Summon and close: When both are inside the portal, click to summon Rick, click again to summon Morty, and click a third time to shrink and close the portal.

Notes

  • Conflict Detection: Do not install this plugin on builds of @deepseek-ai/dsh-client-ui-theme that already have C-137 built in, otherwise two Skin rows will appear and both will write to data-dsh-skin.
  • Language Limitation: All quotes remain in English and do not change with the system locale.
