The design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness is “everything is a plugin.” Developers need to maintain the plugin list in dsh.profile.bundles and control enabling and disabling by editing cordis.patch.yml. Manual operations are error-prone and lack visual feedback. To address this, community developer sorry123maker provided a plugin that adds a “Third-party Plugin Management” page in the DSH Web UI settings, enabling centralized plugin management.
Core Features¶
By reading the dsh.profile.bundles field of the profile, this plugin filters out the @deepseek-ai/* built-in bundles and itself, then displays the enabled status and loading status of each third-party plugin. For each plugin, it provides a toggle control. Clicking “Apply” writes the changes back to the cordis.patch.yml patch layer of the profile. Because dsh watches this file at startup, changes take effect immediately via hot reload, without requiring a restart. Additionally, you can save the current enabled state as a named preset, and view, switch, or delete it from the preset list. Enter a package name or pnpm spec in the “Add Plugin” area to add a plugin.
Installation and Enablement¶
Run the following command in the target profile (usually web):
dsh plugin --profile web add @zhuyh-sai7n/dsh-plugin-manager
After installation, restart dsh web to load the plugin. After restarting, open the Web UI and go to the settings page to find the “Third-party Plugin Management” entry.
Typical Usage¶
- Open “Third-party Plugin Management” in settings and view the third-party plugin list for the current profile.
- Toggle the switch for a plugin and click “Apply”; the plugin will immediately be disabled or enabled.
- Enter a name in the “Presets” area and save the current state. Later, you can one-click “Switch” or “Delete” from the preset list.
- Enter a package name in “Add Plugin” and click “Add”.
Notes¶
After adding a new plugin, you must restart dsh web before it can enter the loader tree. However, disable/enable operations take effect through hot reload. Writing and reading plugin disable patches uses text-level processing and only recognizes entries in a specific format; it will not automatically clean up non-standard content manually written by users. The determination of “third-party” is based on heuristic rules: the @deepseek-ai/* prefix is filtered out, and the rest are treated as third-party.
Summary¶
This plugin simplifies the DSH plugin management workflow and makes configuration and control visual. For more details, refer to the GitHub repository: https://github.com/sorry123maker/dsh-plugin-manager
