Introduction

In agent development, a common edge-case issue is that an Agent claims a task is complete before code, evidence, documentation, release status, and the declared scope are fully aligned. oukeming64-tech/codex-skills is designed to address this issue. It provides a set of evidence-first Agent skills for handoff auditing and documentation synchronization.

What This Is

This is a community-maintained Skill-only bundle, specifically for the DeepSeek Harness developer preview. This plugin bundle is maintained by oukeming64-tech and is built on the core principle that code, evidence, documentation, and release status must remain consistent before an Agent claims completion.

Core Features

The plugin includes two instruction-based skills:

  1. handoff-auditor: Before accepting, merging, or announcing completion of a handoff, it audits the handoff completion claim. It compares the claim against the current code, validation evidence, documentation, release status, and manual acceptance requirements.
  2. docs-sync-guardian: Keeps repository documentation consistent with changes to code, configuration, assets, releases, or workflows. Once a change occurs, it treats documentation as suspect and updates it based on live implementation evidence, while keeping a risk gate for human judgment.

Installation and Activation

The compatible version is @deepseek-ai/dsh@0.1.0-rc.6, requiring a Node.js environment of ^22.19.0 || >=24.0.0.

Install the plugin into the Web profile:

dsh plugin --profile web add 'github:oukeming64-tech/codex-skills#dsh-v0.1.0'

Uninstall:

dsh plugin --profile web remove @oukeming64-tech/codex-skills

Invoke through commands:

Use the handoff-auditor skill to verify this completion claim before accepting it.
Use the docs-sync-guardian skill to check this change for documentation drift.

Use Cases and Caveats

  • Use cases: Verifying handoff claims from another Agent or contributor, or enforcing documentation drift checks after code changes.
  • Implementation: The plugin only registers the skills/ directory through the Harness’s standard filesystem skill provider and is an instruction-based skill. It does not add MCP servers, network clients, credential handling, telemetry, background services, or installation hooks.
  • Disclaimer: This is a community-provided Skill-only bundle, not an official DeepSeek product, and does not represent an official DeepSeek endorsement.

Summary

The plugin provides DeepSeek Harness with a lightweight evidence verification mechanism. By integrating handoff-auditor and docs-sync-guardian, it reduces the risk of omissions during handoff and ensures documentation stays synchronized with code. The source code is available on GitHub for review and use.
