DeepSeek Harness (DSH) allows extending functionality through plugins. Manually configuring remote MCP servers usually requires writing YAML. dsh-netcafe is a bundle designed to add AI NetCafé’s hosted tools by installing it as a DSH profile.

This is a configuration layer. It does not contain tool code; instead, it inserts a single preconfigured @deepseek-ai/dsh-mcp-client line pointing to the remote MCP server.

Core Features

Tools are registered as mcp__netcafe__<name>. All computations are performed locally on the server, results are deterministic, and no external LLMs or APIs are called.

Data Extraction

  • extract_invoices: Batch extract invoices (up to 20) and generate a reconciliation table. Each row is checked (net amount + tax amount = total amount), and batch totals are independently recalculated. If the model misreads values, discrepancies are flagged. Mixed currencies intentionally do not produce batch totals.
  • extract_statement: Extract bank/credit card statements and perform arithmetic checks (opening balance + income - expenditure = closing balance). If imbalanced, it indicates the first row where the running total breaks.
  • extract_tables: Extract tables from PDFs and perform schema alignment (target columns). Uncertain rows are flagged instead of guessed.

Code and Conversion

  • transpile_sql: Transpile between SQL dialects (mysql, postgres, bigquery, etc.). This is a deterministic parser, not a model, so the same input always produces the same output, and syntax errors return line and column.

Tasks and Monitoring

  • create_task: Create scheduled tasks or reachability monitoring.
  • china_reachability: Check whether a URL is reachable in China. Uses the real China Mobile backbone, not just guessing. Provides latency, HTTP status, and the resolved IP.

  • what_can_you_do: Describe a task to discover available tools.
  • check_resume: Check whether an ATS can parse a resume (text is extractable, contact information is findable, multi-column layout, tables). Rule-based and repeatable.
  • remember/recall: Cross-session memory, bound to an AllRouter key or an anonymous workspace token.

  • ask_model/compare_models/list_models: Interact with LLMs and obtain cost estimates.
