DSH Desktop is an Electron application for DeepSeek Harness. Installing plugins in a desktop environment usually requires command-line operations and lacks an intuitive graphical interface. dsh-market-desktop provides a visual plugin marketplace on top of this foundation, supporting browsing, searching, and one-click installation.

Plugin Purpose

This is a plugin marketplace plugin for DSH Desktop. It is forked from the dsh-market project and maintained by KokuYu-sysu. This plugin moves functionality that was originally operated through the command line or web interface into the DSH Desktop settings page, lowering the barrier to obtaining plugins.

Core Features

  • Visual Installation: Provides a graphical interface in the DSH Desktop settings page, supporting browsing and searching for community plugins and installing them with one click.
  • Dependency Fixes: Fixes the common ERR_PNPM_LINKED_PKG_DIR_NOT_FOUND error during installation. If outdated local dependencies exist in the configuration files, the plugin automatically rewrites them and retries.
  • Automatic Rewriting: Can detect and automatically rewrite outdated local dependencies.

Installation and Enablement

Run the following command in the terminal to install it:

dsh plugin --profile desktop add github:KokuYu-sysu/dsh-market-desktop

After installation is complete, launch DSH Desktop and go to Settings -> Plugin Marketplace to use it.

Typical Usage

  1. Launch DSH Desktop.
  2. Open the settings page and select Plugin Marketplace.
  3. Browse or search for the plugin you need in the marketplace interface, then click the install button.
  4. During the first installation, if pnpm is not installed on the system, the marketplace interface provides a one-click setup prompt to guide you through completing the configuration.

Notes

  • Package Name Difference: Installing with the dsh plugin add dshmarket command installs the upstream dshmarket package, not this forked version. Please install it using the command above, which includes the full repository address.
  • pnpm Version Limitations: When using pnpm ≥ 10, dependency build scripts are blocked by default. If you encounter a blocking prompt during installation, click “Allow build scripts and retry” in the interface.
  • Permissions and Security: The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. Before installation, it is recommended to check its GitHub source code and license.

Summary

This plugin provides a visual plugin management entry point for DSH Desktop and resolves dependency installation errors. It is suitable for developers who frequently manage plugins on the desktop.
