In the DSH (DeepSeek Harness) web interface, session management usually relies on UI operations. When you need to quickly share the context of the current conversation or continue working from a specific history item, manually finding the session ID and reconstructing the access method is not direct enough. dsh-session-link is designed to solve this problem. It maps the current session state to a URL, enabling persistent session links and quick recovery.
This is a client-side web plugin maintained by FuWenLianggit. By injecting code into the browser, it allows users to copy a deep link to the current session with one click and supports opening and focusing a specific session directly through URL parameters.
Core Features¶
Copy Session Link¶
A link button is added to the conversation title bar in the Web UI. Clicking the button generates a deep link for the current session. The link format is http://127.0.0.1:3000/?session=<id>, where <id> is the unique identifier of the current session.
Open Session via URL¶
When accessing the DSH Web app, if the URL contains the ?session=<id> parameter, the plugin automatically detects the session and selects and focuses it in the sidebar, without needing to manually locate it in the list.
Installation and Enablement¶
The plugin is installed as a client bundle in the Web configuration file. Run the following command to install it:
dsh plugin --profile web add https://github.com/FuWenLianggit/dsh-session-link
After installation, you must restart the dsh web process and perform a hard refresh in the browser to ensure the new plugin code is loaded correctly.
Typical Usage¶
- In the DSH Web conversation list, locate the currently active session.
- Click the link button in the conversation title bar to copy the deep link to the clipboard.
- Send the link to another device or open it in a new tab.
- When visiting the link, the system automatically locates and opens the corresponding session context.
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
This plugin is a pure client-side plugin. All behavior logic runs in the browser and does not involve host-side state storage.
- Browser context dependency: The deep link carries a session ID. For the feature to work, the link must be opened within the same browser profile (i.e., the one running the localhost server) so that the system can recognize and select the corresponding session in the sidebar.
- Source code review: Because the plugin involves browser-side script injection, it is recommended to review the GitHub source code and license (MIT) before installing.
Summary¶
dsh-session-link provides DSH Web users with the ability to create session links, simplifying context recovery across devices or sessions. For more details and source code, see the plugin directory page or GitHub repository.
