The core philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” For developers who frequently switch interface styles or want a unified visual presentation for Agents, manually modifying configuration files can be costly. The dsh-theme-center plugin provides a theme management solution, including a curated theme library and wallpaper editor, with one-click switching and configuration import/export.

This is a fun customization plugin maintained by dac114514 (MIT license). It addresses the scattered themes and inconvenient switching issue in the DSH Web UI by providing a centralized management interface.

Installation and Enabling

The plugin has been published to npm; install it using the official command:

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-theme-center

After installation, restart the dsh web process, then open Settings → Themes in the Web UI.

Core Features

The plugin provides the following capabilities:

  • Curated built-in theme catalog: Includes 11 themes, displayed separately by light and dark styles.
  • One-click theme switching: Click a card to apply it; the selection is retained after restart.
  • Custom wallpaper: Supports uploading arbitrary images, with built-in cropping and tone editing. Drag to pan the image, scroll to zoom (range 100%–300%), and adjust mask opacity and background blur.
  • dsh-theme file import/export: Supports exporting the current configuration as a dsh-theme file, or importing configuration files from others.
  • Bilingual UI: The interface supports switching between Simplified Chinese and English.

Typical Usage

  1. Open Settings → Themes.
  2. In the wallpaper editor, use mouse drag to pan the image and scroll the wheel to zoom (100%–300%).
  3. Use a dsh-theme file to import or export.

Notes

  • All theme parameters are stored in the theme-center settings namespace.
  • Wallpaper images are locally downscaled to 1440px, JPEG format, at q0.72 quality.
  • The runtime environment requires Node.js version ^22.19.0 or >=24.

With this plugin, you can quickly build a local DeepSeek Harness interface that matches your personal aesthetic. See the links below for the plugin source code and documentation.
