Introduction¶
In the conversational environment of DeepSeek Harness (DSH), interacting directly with an agent is the primary way of doing everyday development. However, this kind of interaction often lacks structured practice feedback and a systematic testing rhythm, making it difficult to build sustained skill improvement. dsh-interview-forge (InterviewForge Quick Practice) aims to address this issue by turning conversations into a structured practice arena.
What It Is¶
This is a client plugin maintained by Co-Kyo. It stays resident when dsh starts and provides a closed-loop workflow from question generation and answering to feedback reports. Data is not lost on process restarts, and all state is persisted to disk.
Core Features¶
- Quick Question Generation: Tell the agent “Start Practice” to generate 5~12 questions by decomposing your target.
- In-Conversation Answering: A ⚡ overlay in the bottom-right corner of the Web UI pops up with the answering queue. Click to open and answer. Minimizing it pauses the timer.
- Feedback Reports: After completing a practice session, it automatically triggers attribution analysis, cognitive labeling, cross-validation, and narrative risk assessment, then renders a radar report.
- History Review: Provides a monthly calendar board to browse all practice records by date.
- Bundled Skill: Includes the
interview-forgeskill, requiring no separate installation.
Installation and Enablement¶
Use the official installation command:
dsh plugin --profile web add ./dsh-interview-forge-0.3.4.tgz
After installation, restart dsh web to load the plugin.
Usage Flow¶
- Tell the agent “Start Practice” (you can include a topic, such as “Practice a set of Vue reactivity”).
- Click the ⚡ overlay in the bottom-right corner, open the practice in the queue, and start answering.
- Click “Complete Practice”. The session automatically returns and sends “Done answering”. After the agent generates the radar report, view it in the overlay.
Notes¶
- Supported Environment: DSH web profile, requiring
@deepseek-ai/dsh-* >= 0.1.1-rc.1. - Upgrade Method: Upgrading is performed by reinstalling. When upgrading from an older version, if you manually installed the skill in
~/.dsh/skills/interview-forge, delete that directory first; otherwise, it will shadow the bundled version (the skill has been provided by the plugin provider since v0.3.0). - License: MIT.
Summary¶
By standardizing the question generation and attribution workflows, this plugin helps developers systematically improve their ability to interact with agents. The bundled skill lowers the barrier to use. For more details, please refer to the GitHub repository.
