Introduction¶
In the DSH ecosystem, when dealing with long conversation histories, manually scrolling to find a user’s question is inefficient. DSH provides a plugin-based extension capability, and dsh-x9-talkjump was created to address this issue. It draws on the interaction pattern of the DeepSeek web version and provides a right-side conversation navigation panel for the Web profile.
What Is This?¶
This is a DSH Web profile plugin. Its core function is to list the user questions in the current session, support one-click jumping to the message location with a flashing highlight, and provide real-time highlighting feedback for the current reading position. The plugin is maintained by X9wd09ncc and is licensed under the MIT License.
Core Features¶
- Right-side line navigation: A row of horizontal lines is displayed vertically centered on the right side of the page, showing up to 6 lines by default. When there are more questions, you can scroll through them by using the mouse wheel on the lines.
- Hover to view the list: When the mouse hovers over the lines, a complete question list pops up on the left side, showing the index, content, and time. The list box also supports scrolling and automatically collapses when the mouse leaves.
- One-click jumping and highlighting: Click a line or a list item, and the chat area will smoothly scroll to the corresponding message and flash to highlight it.
- Automatic history loading: If the target message has not been loaded in the chat area yet, the plugin will automatically load historical data page by page before jumping.
- Real-time reading position highlight: When scrolling the chat area, the line corresponding to the question currently being read will be highlighted (becoming longer and brighter).
- Zero-interference interface: The interface has no permanent buttons or panels. When not hovered, it is only a column of thin lines on the right side.
- Zero runtime dependencies: The browser-side code only uses the seed module built into the DSH platform, so no build step is required.
Installation and Enablement¶
Install it using the official command:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:X9wd09ncc/dsh-x9-talkjump
After installation, restart the Web interface (rerun dsh web or refresh the page) to apply the changes.
Typical Usage¶
- View questions: Hover the mouse over the lines on the right side of the page, and a list of all user questions pops up on the left.
- Jump quickly: Click a line or an item in the list to jump directly to the corresponding question.
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
- Applicable scenarios: Suitable for scenarios where you frequently need to locate user questions and view historical records in long conversations.
- Notes: Loading long conversations may cause some stuttering. The plugin follows the MIT License. It is recommended to review the source code and license before installation.
Conclusion¶
Through its minimalist right-side line design, this plugin enables rapid navigation and reading position identification within conversation history. For developers who deeply process conversation context, it can significantly improve efficiency when reviewing conversations.
