How it works

  • Bottleneck hunting: start from an end product or technology trend, decompose the supply chain layer by layer, and identify nodes with constrained supply, weak substitutability, and high concentration using the test “if this link is cut, can downstream still operate?”
  • Asymmetrical upside: prioritize candidates with limited downside and large upside, such as small market cap, high barriers, low institutional coverage, and hard physical demand.
  • Red-team validation: stress-test an investment thesis by forcing objections around technical limits, substitutes, valuation gaps, and logical holes before making major judgments.
