In litigation work, counsel often need to test a pending case against similar judgments: whether courts support a given claim under comparable facts, where divergences appear, and whether a court-submittable similar-case report can be produced. Manual search often stalls on unclear case decomposition, duplicate case consolidation, and mixing favorable and unfavorable holdings.

How It Works

The skill takes the pending case facts, core dispute points, and cause of action as input. It then follows a six-step flow:
- decompose the case and fix search criteria;
- query the Delilegal case search API with semantic or long-text matching;
- screen and merge similar cases;
- extract core paragraphs from the court's reasoning;
- summarize judicial tendencies and output a structured report with recommendation to follow, recommendation to reference, or recommendation against reference.

Scope and Caveats

It is suitable for producing a similar-case report for court submission or internal strategy review, but it does not replace legal opinions, contract review, or due diligence. Configure the API key before use, confirm required case details if missing, and ensure the report presents both favorable and unfavorable cases while noting guiding cases, regional differences, and recency.
