About this skill

The Problem

  • Manual review of Douyin comment sections is slow, and scattered comments are hard to turn into actionable leads.
  • High-engagement comments on competitor videos often contain demand signals such as “ask for guidance”, “how to buy”, or “price”, but they lack structured fields.

How It Works

  • The core flow is search → comment: keyword search first finds candidate videos and returns signals such as aweme_id and digg_count.
  • Comment retrieval then uses the aweme_id to extract public fields such as user_nickname, user_uid, ip_label, and text.
  • High-intent comments can be filtered and exported to a sheet or CRM; post-cli and hot-cli only help discover posts or keywords.

Boundaries

  • It processes public data only. It does not log in, send messages, scrape private fields such as phone numbers or WeChat IDs, or invent contact details.
  • Results change over time and are subject to rate limits, so keep --limit and request intervals conservative.
  • Exported data should follow personal-information protection requirements and must not be resold or used for harassment.

Use Cases

  • An ops analyst searches Douyin for renovation quotes, pulls comments by video ID, and filters users asking price or contact.
  • A sales lead monitors high-engagement competitor posts and exports comments with buying intent into a follow-up sheet.
  • A marketer uses hot trends to infer keywords for parenting or study-abroad needs and extracts regional intent signals.
  • A private-domain operator exports public-comment nicknames, regions, and needs to a sheet for CRM assignment.

Best For

  • Sales operations teams that need public Douyin demand signals in CRM.
  • Brand marketers monitoring high-engagement competitor comments for intent.
  • Private-domain growth operators structuring public comment leads by region.
  • Marketing engineers building Node.js scripts for public video-comment data.
