Chilltion Free AI Video Generation

Problem

When generating a complete AI video from natural language, the API workflow is often spread across endpoints: creating a session, listening to progress, continuing the conversation, and retrieving video URLs require manual curl calls and JSON parsing. This skill consolidates that workflow into shell scripts under scripts/, making it easier to reuse in terminals, CI, or Agent pipelines.

How It Works

The skill expects CHILLTION_API_KEY and defaults to https://chilltion.com. Key steps include:
- Create a session with create_session.sh, supporting autonomous and interactive modes;
- Subscribe to SSE events with stream.sh, handling phase_change, progress, preview_ready, and video_ready;
- Send follow-up changes with send_message.sh;
- Retrieve video_url, play_url, and chat_url with session_detail.sh.

Autonomous mode is suitable for one-shot input of topic, audience, duration, style, chapter count, and language. Interactive mode suits round-by-round refinement of visuals or narrative. Scripts emit raw JSON and can be parsed with jq, which helps integrate them into existing pipelines.

Notes

A valid API key with the ct_ prefix is required; scripts exit with code 2 when the key is missing. Progress values may be 0–100 or 0–1, so normalize them before display. If a session is busy, connect to the SSE stream first instead of retrying immediately; check the balance on 402, and avoid duplicate creation on 409.
