About this skill
What problem it solves
A hotel may already have still photos of amenities such as the pool, gym, and lobby, but needs them as short display clips. This skill restricts inputs to provided amenity stills and named amenities, so it does not invent missing pools, gyms, slogans, or camera moves. It is built for a low-risk workflow where one still maps to one short clip and paid animation happens only after planning.
How it works
It first creates a free labeled storyboard: one slot per still, recording the amenity name, visible facts, and selected duration. It then checks MIME, width, height, aspect ratio, byte size, and transparency, uploads assets through the bundled scripts/mcp_client.py, and stores the returned asset ID instead of passing local paths to the animation API.
Before calling beatra.videos.animate, it reads beatra.models.list for the current image_to_video capability and price, confirms first-frame image use, avoids driving_audio, and uses model: "auto" by default. Aspect ratio is derived from the source image. If duration is not specified, it defaults to 5 seconds; the allowed range is 2–15 seconds. Each still requires one paid call and a new client_request_id.
After generation, it polls beatra.tasks.get, verifies actual video MIME, duration, size, and billing.net_charged_credits. If a creation response is lost, it searches with beatra.tasks.list before replaying, and reuses the original identifier only when parameters are byte-for-byte identical.
Boundaries and cautions
- Use this for hotel amenity stills; room stills belong to
listing-room-video-pack, assembly toassembly-one-step-clip, and general stills toimage-to-motion. - Do not add unlisted amenities, slogans, audio, or camera moves.
- The storyboard is planning, not approval, and preview is not final delivery review.
- If balance is low, relay official instructions and the recharge link only; do not recommend extra packages or retry paid requests before confirmation.
Use Cases
- Hotel operations has pool, gym, and lobby stills and needs one labeled short clip per still.
- Before paid animation, build a free storyboard with amenity names, aspect ratios, and durations.
- After asset upload, avoid passing local paths to the animation API by using only the bundled MCP client.
- When creation responses are lost, search tasks, verify state, and replay only when parameters match.
Best For
- Hotel content operator: receives amenity stills and needs one labeled clip per amenity with audit trail.
- OTA or lodging listing editor: converts existing lobby and pool photos into display videos without inventing amenities.
- Video production operator: builds a free storyboard first and confirms credits before Beatra animation.
- Automation integration engineer: requires all remote Beatra calls to use the bundled MCP client and recover tasks safely.
